    摘要: The anchoring assembly comprises a sleeve to be coaxially fixed to one end of a conduit of a push-pull control cable from which an operating end of an inner cable projects, and having an external thread on an outer surface thereof. A locknut has an internal thread on the inner surface thereof engaging with the external thread of the sleeve, and is capable of being rotated and accordingly moved axially by an external force along an axis of the sleeve. A brake piece is movably passed through slidably by the sleeve in such a manner that a rotating movement thereof is restricted, which prevents the locknut from rotating. An outer cap comprises a holder and a snap-in device. The holder holds the brake piece and the locknut. The snap-in device has a snap portion. The brake piece and the locknut can be pressed against a rear side periphery of a penetrating hole of a bracket when the outer cap is inserted into the penetrating hole from the rear side and the snap portion expands to catch a front side periphery of the penetrating hole of the bracket.

    摘要: A transmission operating device for performing a shifting operation and a selecting operation of a transmission by pushing or pulling two inner wires of two control cables, comprising: a change speed lever; a connecting arm with which the two inner wires are connected at both ends of the arm; and a cylindrical casing provided at a middle point between the two points where the two inner wires are connected with the connecting arm, wherein the change speed lever is perpendicularly provided to the connecting arm by the cylindrical casing, the connecting arm is made to move in the direction that the inner wires are pushed or pulled by operating the change speed lever in one direction and is made to swing in the direction perpendicular to the direction that the inner wires are pushed or pulled by operating the change speed lever in the other direction, and the connecting arm has a rotational center so that the swinging motion of the connecting arm in the direction perpendicular to the direction that the inner wires are pulled or pushed is changed into a motion that the connecting arm rotates around the rotational center in a plane substantially parallel to the two inner wires of the two control cables. According to the transmission operating device using control cables of the present invention, a driver can operate the device without feeling a physical disorder, since the selecting operation and the shifting operation can be performed by obeying to the generally used operational form.

    摘要: An apparatus for processing an image into binary data is selectively operable with a fixed threshold level and a variable dither threshold level. When a threshold level commmand signal specifies the dither threshold level, a switchover means detects image data read from a character or like black-white image portion on an original document and specific part of a halftone image portion which is approximate in density level to black. The detection output forcibly changes the threshold level command signal from a dither threshold level command to a fixed threshold level command. The dither processing, therefore, occurs only for a minimum necessary halftone image portion in accordance with an image condition on the document.
