    摘要: A DTV receiver includes a tuner, an information detector, a demodulator, and a channel equalizer. The tuner receives a broadcast signal including valid data in which a known data sequence is periodically repeated. The information detector detects location information of the known data sequence and a coarse frequency offset value of the broadcast signal. The demodulator demodulates the broadcast signal by estimating a fine frequency offset value using the detected location information and by compensating a frequency offset of the broadcast signal using the course and fine frequency offset values. Finally, the channel equalizer compensates channel distortion of the demodulated signal using the detected location information.

    摘要: A VSB reception system includes a sequence generator for decoding a symbol corresponding to the supplemental data and generating a predefined sequence included in the supplemental data at VSB transmission system. The reception system also includes a modified legacy VSB receiver for processing the data received from the VSB transmission system in a reverse order of the VSB transmission system by using the sequence, and a demultiplexer for demultiplexing tie data from tie modified legacy VSB receiver into the MPEG data and the supplemental data. The VSB reception system also includes a supplemental data processor for processing the supplemental data segment from the demultiplexer in a reverse order of the transmission system, to obtain the supplemental data, thereby carrying out the slicer prediction, decoding, and symbol decision more accurately by using the predefined sequence, to improve a performance.

    摘要: A surface discharge type air cleaning device comprises an insulating dielectric body formed in the shape of a sheet, and a discharge electrode and a ground electrode formed at one surface of the insulating dielectric body, the discharge electrode and the ground electrode being disposed in parallel with each other while the discharge electrode and the ground electrode are spaced a predetermined distance from each other. The discharge electrode has a plurality of pointed ends protruding toward the ground electrode. Consequently, electrical charge accumulation is prevented and continuous discharge is possible, even when a DC power source is used. In addition, entirely uniform and stable discharge at the surface of the dielectric body is accomplished, and therefore, the generated number of hydroxyl radicals and negative ions is increased while the generated amount of ozone is decreased. Also, discharge safety is increased, and therefore, air cleaning efficiency is improved.

    摘要: Disclosed is a compact ventilating system, in which a heat exchange is carried out between the indoor air being exhausted to the outside of a room and the outdoor air being supplied to the inside of the room. The ventilating system includes a case fluid-communicated with the inside of a room and the outside of the room. An air-supply fan unit is secured to the case and introduces the outside air into the inside of the room. An air-exhaust fan unit is secured to the case and exhausts the indoor air to the outside of the room. A pre-heat exchanger is provided inside the case so as to face the air-supply fan unit and the air-exhaust fan unit. The pre-heat exchanger carries out a heat exchange between the indoor air and the outdoor air.
