    摘要： The present invention provides a white LED comprising: an ultraviolet emitting diode or a purple light emitting diode; and phosphors for emitting at least three visible lights including blue light, green light and red light; wherein an emission spectrum of the white LED has: a first luminescence peak in a blue light region having a wavelength of 440-460 nm; a second luminescence peak in a green light region having a wavelength of 510-530 nm; and a third luminescence peak in a red light region having a wavelength of 620-640 nm. Further, it is preferable that a half bandwidth of each of the luminescence peaks is 50 nm or less. As a result, there can be provided a white LED, backlight and liquid crystal display using the white LED exhibiting a high luminance and an excellent color reproducing property.

One of the controllers compares broadcast schedule list data with the data bases of a plurality of recorder/reproducers to detect which recorder/reproducers have not recorded which material, controls a cart machine to reproduce the video and audio signals of the detected material, and controls the detected recorder/reproducers to record the reproduced video and audio signals. The other controller places the recorder/reproducers in a playback mode based on broadcast control data, and controls them to reproduce and transmit the video and audio signals of materials at corresponding broadcasting times. The recording and reproducing system can automatically carry out a preparatory process to reproduce the same material in a plurality of transmission channels, can easily change the order in which materials are scheduled to be transmitted immediately before they are broadcast, and is relatively inexpensive to manufacture. The recording and reproducing system operates highly efficiently because any missing materials can be recorded while a program material or a live broadcast is being transmitted.

    摘要： A host apparatus collects the physical or chemical quantities of articles, which have been measured by a plurality of measuring devices, for example, vernier calipers. Each calipers has a caliper unit as a measuring means, a dip-switch, a CPU, a RAM, and a transmitter. The caliper unit has an analog-to-digital (A/D) converter. The dip-switch is operated, thus setting an ID number of the device, before the device is used. The ID number is stored into the RAM. When the transmission button of the device is pushed, the CPU edits the digital value supplied from A/D converter and the ID number stored in the RAM, thereby forming a serial-data message. This message is transmitted by a transmitter, in the form of a radio message. The host apparatus has a receiver and a host computer. The receiver received the serial-data messages transmitted from the measuring devices. The host computer collects the values measured by the devices and contained in the serial-data messages, in accordance with the ID numbers also contained in the serial-data messages.

A data-transmitting apparatus has a housing. The housing can be attached to caliper unit. The housing has a fastening ring and a connecting plug. The plug can be connected to the connector of the caliper unit by the fastening ring. A microcomputer including a CPU is provided within the housing. A RAM is also provided within the housing, for storing the digital data input from the caliper unit and also an identification (ID) number assigned to the data-transmitting apparatus. The microcomputer forms a serial-data message from the digital data and the ID number, both stored in the RAM. A transmitter is provided within the housing, for transmitting the serial-data message in the form of a radio message.
