摘要: A calculation device, a calculation method, and a non-transitory computer readable recording medium including a calculation program with which a length of a target region required for a body model can be determined by means of a simple motion are provided. This calculation device configures a wearable device to initiate measurement of a measurement target region. After the measurement of the measurement target region is initiated, a worker wearing the wearable device performs a motion such as rotation of an arm, for example, etc. The calculation device acquires measured information two or more times over time and calculates a body model on the basis of the acquired measured information. During calculation of the body model, calculation is performed to determine a length of a calculation target region by approximately determining a circle or sphere having the length from the rotation center to the calculation target region as a radius using a mathematical method such as a least-squares method on the basis of the measured information acquired over time. Then, the calculation device records the calculated body model in a body model recording unit.

摘要: Provided is an inner circumferential length measuring device for a circular member, the device having a support with two projection portions projecting from a surface of the support and configured to engage an inner circumferential surface of the circular member. A two-dimensional sensor is disposed facing the inner circumferential surface of the circular member at a predetermined measurement position and is rotatable about a rotation shaft at a predetermined position inward of the circular member, the two-dimensional sensor being configured to measure a separation distance from the two-dimensional sensor to the inner circumferential surface around an entire circumference of the circular member. A calculation unit calculates an inner circumferential length of the circular member using the separation distance and a distance from the rotation shaft to the two-dimensional sensor.

摘要: An apparatus (2) with a chain (1) that is arranged endlessly circulateable in the apparatus (2) includes a measuring apparatus (3) for measuring the stretching or elongation of the chain (1), with a first signal pick-up (4) and with a second signal pick-up (5), which are arranged at a spacing distance (D) relative to one another, which extends in the running direction over several chain links (6) of the chain (1). A first element for signal generation (7) is arranged on a first chain link (6.1) in such a manner so that with a circulating chain (1) a signal is produced upon running past the first signal pick-up (4). Several further elements for signal generation (8) are arranged on a second chain link (6.2) in such a manner so that with a circulating chain (1) a further signal is generated with each one of these further elements (8) upon running past the second signal pick-up (5). During one circulation of the chain (1), the number (NS2) of signals at the second signal pick-up (5) is counted, which are produced before a first signal is produced at the first signal pick-up (4).

摘要: A microwave sending antenna 3R and a microwave receiving antenna 4R are provided to a right-side furnace wall 1R, and the system is devised so that the microwaves emitted from the microwave sending antenna 3R are reflected by the right-side edge of a cold-rolled steel plate 2, and the reflected waves are received by the microwave receiving antenna 4R. Similarly, a microwave sending antenna 3L and a microwave receiving antenna 4L are provided to a left-side furnace wall 1L, and the system is devised so that the microwaves emitted from the microwave sending antenna 3L are reflected by the left-side edge of the cold-rolled steel plate 2, and the reflected waves are received by the microwave receiving antenna 4L. If the time from the sending of the microwaves until the receiving of the reflected waves is designated as t, and the velocity of the microwaves is designated as c, then the distance to the object reflecting the microwaves is determined from t·c/2. It is possible to provide a method for measuring the width-direction end position of a material strip with which noise and atmosphere have little effect, installation is easy, and there is little mechanical interference with the material strip.

摘要: A method for determining the range of a dimensional parameter of a multiplicity of members is provided. The method includes the steps of: providing at least two sensors; fixing a set constant distances (Δl) between the sensors such that the relative distances between sensors are fixed and free from adjustment; and measuring the dimensional parameter based upon a ratio (Δt2/Δt1) of a first time segment (Δt1) and a second time segment (Δt2), whereby no adjustment of the relative distance between sensors is required.

摘要: Web tension in web material passing through a web transport system is determined in real time using position sensors coupled to driven rollers that define a beginning and an end of a tension zone. The position sensors on the rollers provide information related to the amount of strained web material that has been added and subtracted from the web material present in the tension zone. The amount of web material added to, subtracted from and present in the tension zone in a sample time period is then converted to an unstrained amount of web material that when combined provides an estimate for the present amount of unstrained web material present in the tension zone. Because the length of the tension zone is both fixed and known, the tension in the web material is determined from the present amount of unstrained web material in the tension zone.

摘要: A thermal dye printer media element for use in a thermal printer includes sequential color patches which form multiple color groups located along a length of the element. Metering marks are provided repetitively along the length of the element for measurement of distances along the element. The spacing between successive pairs of the metering marks may be uniform, change in a linear fashion, or change in a nonlinear fashion. The metering marks may be optically or magnetically detectable. The first and second metering mark sequences may be essentially the same. Alternatively, the first and second metering mark sub-sequences may be different. The start of a metering mark sequence may be aligned with an edge of a color patch, or may be offset from an edge of a color patch. A third sequence of metering marks may be provided for a third color patch, wherein said third metering mark sequence is different from said first sequence.

摘要: The tracking signal generating device disclosed herein is adapted to be utilized between successive conveying sections in which articles are transported at a nominal height. A resilient suspension supports an elongate roller so that it projects above the nominal height of the conveying sections in the absence of an article being transported, but is deflected downwardly by the passage of an article from one section to the next. A sensor responsive to the downward deflection provides a signal indicating the presence of an article and an encoder driven by rotation of the roller generates signals indicating the length of an article passing the device.
