    摘要: A bedding structure with collapsible frames, comprising a limiting member, a covering member, and a plurality of frame members. The covering member is connected to the limiting member and has at least one opening. The plurality of frame members are configured in a predetermined arrangement inside the covering member. The frame member further consists of at least two arc curves with one arc curve in close proximity to the other arc curve at its overlapping end. The frame member further contains two adjoining ends in close proximity to the outer edge of limiting member to turn the overlapping end into essentially the highest point and prop up the covering member to a height away from the limiting member. Through the predetermined arrangement of the plurality of frame members inside the covering member, the plurality of overlapping ends are arranged to form roughly a predefined shape, and then through the alignment of frame members and the alignment of arc curves of the frame member, the bedding structure can be folded up for storage.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a method and apparatus in relation to non-invasive measurement of human blood analytes such as glucose using Raman Spectroscopy. The method is intended to correct for errors associated with varying skin conditions. An approach is described for generating a skin/tissue function that accounts for light energy dissipation due to skin and tissue interferences such as color, thickness, sites, oily, turbid, and surface roughness, etc. The measured skin/tissue function is utilized to correct Raman spectra, thus removing uncertainty and ambiguity coming from skin conditions. The method comprises measuring incident broadband spectrum and diffuse reflectance spectrum, and from them calculating the skin-tissue function.

    摘要: An optical multiplexing and demultiplexing device includes: a fiber mounting means for securing a plurality of optical fibers each terminating in a fiber end, at least one of the fiber ends radiating a corresponding input beam having a polarization state defined by a polarization plane that may vary as a function of time, and at least one of the fiber ends for receiving an output beam; collimating and focusing means having a focal length, and providing collimation of the input beams, and focusing of the output beams; diffraction means including at least one diffractive element providing for dispersion of optical beams passing therethrough, each diffractive element having an associated diffraction efficiency that varies as a function of the polarization state of light beams passing therethrough; and a polarization rotating means for rotating the plane of polarization of a beam passing therethrough by a specified number of degrees. The device provides for a particular input beam having a first polarization state to be diffracted by the diffractive elements in accordance with a first diffraction efficiency based on the first polarization state. The beam is then passed through the polarization rotating means at least once and thereby rotated into a second polarization state. The rotated beam is then diffracted by at least one of the diffractive elements in accordance with a second diffraction efficiency based on the second polarization state, whereby the device provides a spectral resolution that is substantially insensitive to variations in the polarization state of the input beam.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for non-invasively measuring animal/human blood glucose and other metabolites including an excitation laser source, a negative pressure based sampling port which interfaces to a human or other animal tissue sample in vivo, a Raman spectrometer, and data analysis and display devices. The device can be made in a compact size and may be portable, and it can be used in homes, offices or clinics. A negative atmospheric sampling port is made of a vacuum chamber that is connected with an electrically or manually driven vacuum pump which creates a negative air pressure inside the vacuum chamber. Under the negative air pressure, a substantial amount of blood is "sucked" into a small area of the human finger so that measurement of an enhanced Raman signal can be made.

    摘要: A lightning protection device for a wind turbine generator system includes at least a blade arrester, a down lead of a blade connected to the blade arrester, a lightning-proof element of a pitch bearing, a lightning-proof element of a rotor bearing. The lightning-proof element of the pitch bearing is arranged at the blade root, with one end connected to the down lead of blade and the other end connected to the lightning-proof element of the rotor bearing. The lightning protection device forms a lightning current conducting path passing through a cavity of the pitch bearing, a hollow of a rotor shaft and a cavity of the rotor bearing. A wind turbine generator system having the above mentioned lightning protection device is provided.
