    摘要: A thrust bearing arrangement for a turbocharger including a thrust bearing unit having separate normal and reverse thrust bearings, and a thrust member provided on a turbine shaft and interposed between the normal and reverse thrust bearings. Both the normal and reverse thrust bearings are spaced from the turbine shaft in a radial direction of the turbine shaft and a lubrication oil is supplied to a first contact area between the normal thrust bearing and the thrust member. An oil guide portion is formed on a bearing housing for further supplying the lubrication oil to a second contact area between the thrust member and the reverse thrust bearing. A seal member is provided on the turbine shaft in slidable contact with an inner peripheral face of the normal thrust bearing.

    摘要: A flat blow molding machine adapted to extrude flat hollow parison from clearance between a flat core and a flat die surrounding the core, characterized in that both ends of the die are slidable in a width direction with respect to a center, the core is replaceable in accordance with expansion and contraction of the die in the width direction. According to this construction, it is possible to change the width of the flat hollow parison extruded from the clearance between the core and the die by sliding the both ends of the die in the width direction and replacing the core upon expansion and contraction of the core in the width direction. Further, if the flat core is constructed from a planar replaceable portion and curved (three dimensional) non-replaceable portions and only the planar replaceable portion is exchanged upon replacement, preparing a plurality of inexpensive-to-manufacture planar replaceable portions having different lengths is enough and the cost is reduced. Accordingly, the width of the hollow flat parison extruded from the clearance between the flat core and the flat die can be changed.

    摘要: In a method for processing a rotor used for a supercharger and the like, a slanted rolling machine is used having rolls designed such that the rolls are arranged about a pass line along which a material to be molded advances. Each roll is of corn shape and has a plurality of spiral-shaped grooves formed on its side surface. A shaft member made from iron or a similar material is inserted into an aluminum alloy tube. The aluminum alloy tube with the shaft member inside it is continuously fed to the slanted rolling machine along the pass line. Then, the periphery of the aluminum alloy tube is rolled/spread by the rolls for forming spiral shaped teeth from the tube material and for metallurgically attaching the tube to the shaft member.
