摘要： A water filter assembly is provided including a body defining a body cavity, a spool slidably positioned in the body cavity, and a filter cartridge. Once the filter cartridge is inserted into the spool cavity and body cavity, the filter cartridge is configured to filter water from an inlet of the body. Additionally, the filter cartridge includes a nozzle for providing such filtered water to an outlet of the body. The nozzle includes an outlet directed back towards the filter medium such that the filter cartridge is pressed into the spool cavity and body cavity when water flows therethrough.

摘要： A manifold bracket assembly has a bracket body and multiple filter heads. The filter heads are mounted on the bracket body, and each filter head has an outer casing, a filter connector, two keyed tabs and two tab fasteners. The filter connector and the keyed tabs are securely mounted in the outer casing by the tab fasteners. The filter connector has multiple hose connectors. The keyed tabs are mounted respectively in two tab holes in the filter connector, and each keyed tab has a key block formed on the inner surface of the keyed tab. Accordingly, the filter heads can be easily and conveniently connected with each other by hoses connected to the hose connectors.

摘要： Disclosed is a capsule apparatus having a filter housing defining a filter chamber with a top cap having a plurality of ports extending substantially laterally from a top end of the top cap. The lateral and substantially uniform orientation of the ports facilitates connection to panel mount assemblies and improves filter maintenance processes. A transfer tube extending the length of the capsule allows the introduction of heated fluids from a top mounted inlet port to a bottom of the capsule chamber to allow or a substantially uniform heat gradient in the capsule filter chamber. A dispersion ring or dispersion plate may be secured to a distal end of the transfer tube to promote uniform dispersion of liquids and/or gases introduced into the capsule apparatus. An alternative shield secured in the housing defines a first chamber in fluid communication with an inlet and a second chamber wherein the two chambers are in fluid communication via an opening defined by a lower end of the shield and a bottom of the filter chamber. An alternative capsule apparatus has an outlet tube extending downwardly from a top mounted outlet port in fluid communication with an enclosed filter membrane secured below a column of loose filter media.

Each of the fittings has a topmost portion and the wall of the reservoir has a topmost portion, the topmost portion of each filter fitting being at or below the topmost portion of the reservoir wall. A filter arrangement may include a filter and a manifold assembly having first and second fittings which may be sealingly coupled to or uncoupled from the first and second fittings of the filter.

摘要： A draw latch retainer is used to secure a filter cartridge to a filter head. A cam actuated retainer extends from the head to engage a keeper in the top of the cartridge. Rotation of the cam draws the retainer and cartridge axially toward the head into an installed position. The retainer extends through an aperture in the upper portion of the cartridge to apply a retention force against the bottom side of the keeper. The keeper and upper portion of the cartridge supporting the keeper are configured to transmit the retaining force laterally across the top of the cartridge. A pair of axial conduits project from the cartridge and mount O-ring seals for implementing an axial sealing interface with passages in the head.

摘要： A filter and its holder each have a keyed surface, one being a protruding “key” and one being a recessed “lock,” wherein cooperation of these keyed surfaces is required in order for the filter to be installed in the holder. Modification/adaptation of the keyed surfaces, by changing the location, number and length of the key protrusions and cooperating recesses during manufacture, allows various sets of mating filters and holders to be produced so that only mating/matching filters and holders may be connected together. The keyed protrusions are preferably located on an upper shoulder or on protruding flange(s) of the upper end of the filter. The cooperating recess structure inside the filter holder comprises axial recesses that allow axial insertion of the key protrusions, and hence the filter, into the holder and also a circumferential recesses portion that receives multiple key protrusions to retain the filter in the holder. This way, multiple key protrusions slide into and are retained in a single circumferential recess/slot, rather than each key protrusion being received in its own separate circumferential recess/slot.
