Abstract: A vent filter (1), preferably for a pure liquid storage tank, comprising a cylindrical shell (2), at least one compartment (A) for accommodating granular filter material (3), said at least one compartment (A) defined between an inner peripheral surface (4) of the shell (2) and a pair of spaced apart separator plates (5) arranged in the shell (2) such that the spacing of the separator plates (5) in the axial direction of the shell (2) can be changed and fixed so as to apply a pressure on the granular filter material (3) in the at least one compartment (A). An air inlet (6) and an air outlet (7) are respectively arranged to allow a flow of air through the granular filter material (3) in the at least one compartment (A).

Abstract: A compressor oil separator installed in a cryogenic refrigerator compressor includes a first tube that extends in a vertical direction. The first tube includes a first communication portion that connects an inside of the first tube to an outside of the first tube. The compressor oil separator also includes a delivery pipe that extends in the vertical direction and is configured to deliver refrigerant, including oil, to the inside of the first tube. The compressor oil separator also includes a filter located between the first tube and the delivery pipe in a cross section intersecting the vertical direction. The delivery pipe includes a delivery port that delivers the refrigerant to the inside of the first tube, the delivery port being located downward from a middle part of the first tube in the vertical direction.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a portable industrial air filtration device employing an annular dual filter assembly to capture and remove impurities from the air surrounding the air filtration device, enabling the air filtration device to quickly and efficiently improve the quality and safety of the air. The air filtration device includes a two-piece housing including a lower housing component and a locking cover removably attachable to the lower housing component. The dual filter assembly is mounted within the housing between the locking cover and the lower housing component, and includes a removable self-supporting outer pre-filter surrounding a separately removable inner HEPA filter. The pre-filter initially filters the surrounding air by capturing relatively large or coarse impurities, and the HEPA filter further filters the air pulled through the pre-filter by capturing relatively small or fine impurities.

Abstract: Air filtering devices are disclosed that contain a first filter cartridge having a cartridge inlet and a cartridge outlet and a curved filter bed having a concave surface disposed such that air to be filtered passes through the inlet, the curved filter bed, and the outlet. The air filtering devices also contain a blower assembly having a blower inlet in fluid communication with the cartridge outlet and a blower outlet, the blower assembly includes a motor proximate to the concave surface of the curved filter bed. The motor has a rotational axis such that the rotational axis is adjacent to the center of curvature of the curved filter bed. The air filtering device may be used in powered air purifying respirators.

Abstract: A purification column is provided in which fluid is purified by flow through a purifying component. The column includes an annular wall defining a bore which, in use, contains the purifying component. The column further includes an inlet port to the bore comprising a first aperture through the annular wall, the inlet port being adjacent one end of the column. The column further includes an outlet port from the bore comprising a second aperture through the annular wall, the outlet port being adjacent the same end of the column as the inlet port. The column further includes a flow guidance device within the bore and removably connected to the inlet and outlet ports for guiding the fluid to the purifying component from the inlet port and for guiding the fluid from the purifying component to the outlet port. The flow guidance device maintains separation of the fluid flows to and from the purifying component.
