    摘要: An apparatus for cooling a hot rolled steel strip comprising a transfer means arranged behind a final finishing mill, the transfer means comprising a plurality of transfer rolls for transferring the steel strip; at least one upper surface cooling means arranged at an upper surface side of the transfer means for cooling the steel strip by ejecting cooling water to an upper surface of the steel strip, the upper surface cooling means being capable of moving freely up and down and having a water breaking means at least at an outlet side of the cooling apparatus and at a position corresponding to the transfer rolls; and at least one lower surface cooling means arranged at a lower surface side of the transfer means relative to the upper surface cooling means and the steel strip to be transferred, for cooling the hot strip by ejecting cooling water at a lower surface of the steel strip.

    摘要: Hydraulic cylinders are provided in a housing so as to be opposed to work rolls and backup rolls. Before a front end portion of a rollable material is engaged between the work rolls, the working oil pressure of the hydraulic cylinders is set at a high pressure value to make a pressing force on roll chocks high. After the rollable material is completely engaged between the work rolls, the working oil pressure of the hydraulic cylinders is set at a low pressure value to make the pressing force on the roll chocks low.

    摘要: A method for supplying rolling oil for cold rolling is provided wherein emulsion rolling oil is supplied using both: (i) a first rolling oil supply system for sypplying the emulsion rolling oil to a roll and a steel sheet being rolled in a recirculation mode, and (ii) a second rolling oil supply system for supplying the emulsion rolling oil to only the front and back surface of the stell sheet. The emulsion rolling oil supplied by the first and second supply systems comprise an emulsifier of a same type and concentration, and the second supply system is controlled so that an average particle diameter of emulsion is larger than an average particle diameter of emulsion of the first supply system. The emulsion of the second supply system, which has not stuck onto the steel sheet being rolled, is then joined to the emulsion of the first supply system.

    摘要: In chatter monitoring of twin drives of roll stands, vibrations of an upper drive and a lower drive are detected and monitored to determine whether a predetermined amplitude has been exceeded. If the amplitude has been exceeded, a chatter detection signal is generated. In order to prevent the chatter detection signal from being generated erroneously due to an operational pass vibrations, the frequencies of the vibrations of the upper drive and the lower drive are monitored for identity; when the frequencies are identical, the chatter detection signal is suppressed.

    摘要: An emulsion flow optimization method suitable for a cold continuous rolling mill that aims to achieve vibration suppression. The method aims to suppress vibrations by an oil film thickness model and a friction coefficient model. An optimum set value of the emulsion flow rate for each rolling stand that aims to achieve vibration suppression is optimized on the basis of an over-lubrication film thickness critical value and an under-lubrication film thickness critical value that are proposed. The method greatly reduces the incidence of rolling mill vibration defects, improves production efficiency and product quality, treats rolling mill vibration defects, and improves the surface quality and rolling process stability of a finished strip of a cold continuous rolling mill.
