    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a network element in a communication network for routing an IP session to a radio device over a WLAN, the IP session comprising at least one bearer. The method comprises obtaining an identifier for each of the at least one bearer of the IP session. The method also comprises mapping downlink data packets of the IP session to the identifier for each of the at least one bearer of the IP session. The method also comprises transmitting each of the DL packets on a bearer of said at least one bearer, together with the identifier for the bearer it has been mapped to, over the WLAN to the radio device. The disclosure also relates to a network element and a radio device, as well as to other methods thereof.

    摘要: Disclosed are a message processing method with respect to a terminal having multiple External Identifiers (EIDs) and a network side device, and the method includes: a network side device transmits an SMS message carrying a triggering message to a terminal, upon a triggering request from an MTC server, wherein the SMS message contains a TPDU, in which a TP-DA parameter is written as an LID of an EID or a triggering-specific identifier configured for the terminal; the network side device receives a triggering response from the terminal; the EID corresponding to the terminal is retrieved according to the LID or triggering-specific identifier carried in the triggering response; and the triggering request from the MTC server is responded according to the retrieved EID. The disclosure makes it possible for a network side to correctly respond to a triggering request from an MTC server while the security of the terminal is ensured.

    摘要: A method and system for forwarding data between network devices is provided. A routing device receives, identifies and forwards data to a network device coupled to a private network. The routing device may make a determination of how to forward the data, for example by determining which of several delivery mechanisms to use. The network device may be also associated with a public network via a public network device identifier (PNDI). The PNDI may include a public IP address of the routing device, a public first port number such as a destination port number, and optionally a public second port number such as a source port number, the combination of public IP address and public port number(s) being unique to the network device.

    摘要: Systems and methods for terminating telephony communications to a mobile telephony device that is roaming outside of its native service area make use of a forwarding termination service. The forwarding termination service causes the native mobile telephony service provider that provides service to the mobile telephony device to forward incoming telephony communications directed the native telephone number of the mobile telephony device to a forwarding access number. The forwarding termination service receives telephony communications directed to the forwarding access number, and then terminates the telephony communication to the mobile telephony device via any one of multiple different methods. The mobile telephony service provider can be instructed to implement and cancel call forwarding instructions by dialing a special character string on the mobile telephony device.

    摘要: A virtual operator and method for performing authentication and service translation. The virtual operator assigns first and second identifiers to subscribers. The virtual operator updates the second identifier when the service provider corresponding to the second identifier changes. When the virtual operator receives a request for authentication, the virtual operator forwards the authentication request to a serving network for authentication. When the virtual operator receives a service request, the virtual operator selects, using network optimization criteria, a network to provide the requested service. The virtual operator translates network protocols when the network forwarding authentication or service request uses a network protocol different from the network performing authentication or the requested service.
