The side wall of the valve body include a first side opening (23) and a second side opening (24) extending into the conduit. At least part of a pressure control device (18) is accommodated by said first insert element (21), and at least part of a flow rate adjustment device (19) is accommodated by said second insert element (22).

    摘要: A pressure relief apparatus is disclosed herein. The pressure relief apparatus comprises a primary conduit for transporting fluid in a given direction. The pressure relief apparatus also includes a secondary conduit intersecting the primary conduit at an angle such that the secondary conduit extends from away from the primary conduit in a direction opposite of the given direction of the transported fluid in the primary conduit. The pressure relief apparatus further comprises a rupture disk disposed in the secondary conduit designed to fail when pressure of the transported fluid in the primary conduit increases above a desired pressure threshold. A method of passing fluid through the pressure relief apparatus is also provided herein.

    摘要: A pneumatically operated power tool includes an outer frame, a driving components, a pressure reduction valve, and a switching valve. The outer frame has a compressed air intake portion and defines therein a compressed air chamber. The driving components are disposed in the outer frame and are driven by a compressed air in the compressed air chamber. The pressure reduction valve defines a pressure receiving space and allows a compressed air to flow from the air intake portion to the compressed air chamber and to the pressure receiving space. The switching valve is movable between a first position where the compressed air flows from the compressed air intake portion to the pressure receiving space, and a second position where a communication between the compressed air intake portion and the pressure receiving space is blocked. The pressure reduction valve is configured to set a compressed air pressure in the compressed air chamber to a first pressure level if the switching valve is located at the first position and to set the compressed air pressure to a second pressure level lower than the first pressure level if the switching valve is located at the second position.

    摘要: A dual valve assembly includes two regulating valves. Each valve includes an outer housing comprised of a cap joined to a base. The housing is internally subdivided by a barrier wall into a head section and a base section, the latter being further subdivided by a modulating assembly into a fluid chamber and a spring chamber. An inlet and a 90° outlet in the cap communicate with the fluid chamber. Fluid at a variable pressure is admitted into the fluid chamber via the inlet, with the modulating assembly serving to maintain the fluid exiting the fluid chamber via the outlet at a substantially constant pressure. A smaller one of the valves has its base nested within the spring chamber of the other larger valve.

    摘要: A pressure regulator includes a housing, a divider, and a valve. The housing includes an inlet and an outlet. The divider separates the housing into a first chamber and a second chamber. And the valve includes a spherical valve ball and a seat. The spherical valve ball is fixed with respect to a first one of the housing and the divider, and the seat is fixed with respect to a second one of the housing and the divider. A first configuration of the spherical valve ball with respect to the seat substantially prevents fluid communication between the inlet and the outlet, and a second configuration of the spherical valve ball with respect to the seat permits fluid communication between the inlet and the outlet.

    摘要: A valve body is formed in two half sections which are secured together to define a water passage and to confine therebetween a thin gate valve blade for movement between a lower open position and an upper closed position. An actuator includes a flexible bellows sealed to the valve body above the passage and a top plate connected by a rod to the valve blade. The valve body and the bellows define an expandable fluid chamber connected by a bottom port or line to a drain line. The valve body is installed within a water supply line or a sewage drain line extending under a floor. In the event sewage water backs up within the drain line, air within the fluid chamber is compressed to expand the bellows upwardly for closing the valve. When the sewage water flows from the drain line, the air pressure reduces, and the bellows collapses and automatically returns the valve blade to its open position.

    摘要: A poultry drinker system includes a number of drinker lines each supplied from a common high pressure water supply through a water pressure regulator. Each regulator includes a reference spring establishing a default minimum water pressure. A centralized remote control system provides regulated low pressure air to the water pressure regulators to augment the reference spring force and remotely adjust the water pressure in the drinker lines. The remote control system periodically applies higher pressure air to the water pressure regulators to increase water pressure and flow rates and sequentially flush the drinker lines. The remote control system includes a source of high pressure air, an air pressure regulator for supplying lower pressure air and a stack of 3-way valves for applying low or high pressure air to each water pressure regulator.
