    摘要: A distillation apparatus includes a rectifying column, a stripping column located above seen from the rectifying column, a liquid sump unit located at a predetermined stage of the stripping column and configured to hold liquid that has flowed downward, a heat exchanger located in the liquid sump unit, a second pipe for introducing vapor in the rectifying column to the heat exchanger of the stripping column, and a third pipe for introducing fluids flowing out from the heat exchanger of the stripping column to the rectifying column. Further, a flare line having lower pressure than pressure in the rectifying column is connected to a downstream side of the third pipe. The distillation apparatus can switch a first flow toward an inside of the rectifying column through the third pipe to a second flow branching from the third pipe toward a pipe at a lower pressure side.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a process for concentrating aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution to give at least two hydrogen peroxide streams of different concentration in an apparatus which includes a preevaporator (1), a distillation column (2) and a vapour compressor (3). The aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution to be concentrated (4) is continuously fed into the preevaporator; vapour (5) produced by evaporation in the preevaporator is fed to the distillation column; bottom product (6) obtained in the preevaporator is withdrawn as a first concentrated hydrogen peroxide stream (7); vapour (8) produced in the distillation column is withdrawn from the distillation column at the top of the column, compressed by the vapour compressor and used for heating the preevaporator; and the bottom product (9) obtained in the distillation column is withdrawn as a second concentrated hydrogen peroxide stream (10); Concentrated hydrogen peroxide solutions having differing concentrations in the range from 50 to 70% by weight of hydrogen peroxide can be produced at the same time in a freely selectable ratio by feeding part of the bottom product obtained in the preevaporator in liquid form to the distillation column.

    摘要: For purifying a liquid, the liquid is caused to evaporate in a cyclone in a recirculation circuit. Vapor is discharged via a discharge channel in which a compressor is included. In a heat exchanger downstream of the compressor, supplied vapor condenses and heat thereby released is transferred to liquid in the recirculation circuit. A liquid inlet of the cyclone is placed and directed for delivering a jet having a directional component tangential with respect to an inner surface of the cyclone. The liquid inlet has a section shaped such that in operation the delivered jet is a flat jet having a cross section which in a direction parallel to a nearest generatrix of the inner surface of the cyclone is greater than in a direction perpendicular thereto. The jet contacts the inner surface of the cyclone before drop formation occurs in the jet. A method for purifying a liquid is also described.

    摘要: A modular distillation apparatus including at least one heat exchanger that preheats contaminated liquids: a heater that heats the contaminated liquid from the heat exchanger; an evaporator condenser adapted o boil the contaminated liquid coming out of the heater to produce water vapor and contaminant concentrate, and condenser the water vapor into distilled water; a vacuum chamber capable of operating at below atmospheric pressure, the vacuum chamber housing the evaporator condenser and including at least one partition to separate the distilled water from the contaminate concentrate; a vapor compressor operably associated with the vacuum chamber to receive water vapor from the evaporator condenser in the vacuum chamber and pump the water vapor at pressure back through the evaporator condenser, wherein the heat exchanger recovers sensible heat from outgoing condensed distilled water and contaminant concentrate recycled from the vacuum chamber.
