Abstract:
A method and apparatus for providing a mobile service with the use of a code pattern is disclosed In one embodiment, the method comprising: taking a photograph of a code pattern image, decoding the photographed code pattern image so as to obtain code information, extracting uniform resource locator (URL) information corresponding to the code information, transmitting a content information request message to a service provider server corresponding to the URL information, and receiving content information corresponding to the URL information from the service provider server. According to embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to provide various and convenient mobile services to mobile terminal users using a mobile terminal, having a camera, and a code pattern containing the URL information.
Abstract:
Provided are methods for manufacturing improved cerium oxide abrasives suitable for forming slurry compositions suitable for CMP processes. The cerium oxide abrasives are produced by the heat treatment of a mixture of a cerium precursor compound under conditions that produce primary cerium oxide particles that are incorporated in larger secondary abrasive particles. The structure of the primary cerium oxide particles and/or the presence of incompletely oxidized cerium within the secondary abrasive particle tend to reduce its mechanical strength, thereby reducing the likelihood of damaging a substrate surface during a CMP process utilizing such abrasives.
Abstract:
A method of controlling windows in a terminal. The method includes displaying at least first and second windows on the terminal, inputting a command via the first window, and applying the input command to both of the first and second windows.
Abstract:
A slurry composition includes an acidic aqueous solution and one or both of, an amphoteric surfactant and a glycol compound. Examples of the amphoteric surfactant include a betaine compound and an amino acid compound, and examples of the amino acid compound include lysine, proline and arginine. Examples of the glycol compound include diethylene glycol, ethylene glycol and polyethylene glycol.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display includes a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines crossing over the gate lines while being electrically insulated from the gate lines. Pixels are placed at the cross regions of the gate and the data lines arranged in a matrix form. Each pixel has a switching circuit connected to the gate and the data lines. Data voltages are fed to the pixels such that the polarity of the pixels is inverted per a pixel group of two or more pixel rows. Gate voltages are applied to the neighboring first and second pixel groups such that the gate voltage applied to the pixel row of the first pixel group close to the second pixel group differs from the gate voltage applied to the pixel row of the first pixel group distant to the second pixel group.
Abstract:
In a gate driving circuit and a display apparatus having the same, a ripple preventing part is connected to a pull-up part and a control terminal (Q-node) to reset the Q-node. The ripple preventing part includes a first ripple preventing device that resets the Q-node during a high period of the first clock within a (n−1)H period, and a second ripple preventing device that resets the Q-node during a high period of a second clock within the (n−1)H period. A back-flow preventing device is connected between a previous carry node and the second ripple preventing device to prevent an electric charge of the Q-node from flowing back to the previous carry node.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a hair dyeing composition. The composition induces swelling of hair to expand the cortex by the use of arginine, which is a constituent ingredient of hair, and as a result, effectively allows a colorant to infiltrate into the cuticle, thereby increasing the dyeing rate. Therefore, the composition can markedly decrease the dyeing time to 1˜5 minutes from 20˜30 minutes required in conventional hair dyeing compositions. In addition, the combined effects of aloe vera gel, ceramide and hair keratin enables prevention of damage to the hair during dyeing.
