摘要: A medical instrument and method thereof for performing a measurement on a biological sample using a test strip are disclosed. The medical instrument may comprise: an analytical unit for analyzing the test strip, wherein the analytical unit comprises a test strip mount which receives the test strip to perform the measurement; a test strip port which receives the test strip, wherein the test strip port is aligned with the test strip mount along an insertion direction; and a shutter movable between open and closed positions, the shutter comprises a test strip opening, wherein the test strip opening is aligned with the test strip port and the test strip mount when the shutter is in the open position, wherein the shutter comprises a shutter mechanism that rotates the shutter parallel to the insertion direction about a rotational axis to move the shutter between the open position and the closed position.

摘要: An analysis method includes: an inflow process of a solution containing a test object, a magnetic support on the surface of which a complex including an antibody labeled with a luminescent agent and recognizes the test object is formed, and a reaction aid to assist reaction of the luminescent agent in a flow cell; a process of capturing the magnetic support over a working electrode by a magnetic field; a process of making the luminescent agent illuminate by applying a voltage to the working electrode; and a process of measuring an amount of luminescence of the luminescent agent. The luminescent process includes: luminescence from action of a first neutral radical, produced from the reaction aid through a cation radical; and luminescence from action of a second neutral radical, produced not through a cation radical, on the luminescent agent. This increases the luminous efficiency of ECL and enhances detection sensitivity.

摘要: A transfer station for transferring a medical fluid between at least one supply container and at least one administration container of an infusion device is described. In an embodiment, the transfer station comprises at least one supply port configured for fluidic connection of the at least one supply container to the transfer station, and at least one exit port configured for fluidic connection of the at least one administration container to the transfer station. A transfer mechanism for automatically transferring a predetermined amount of medical fluid from the at least one supply container to the at least one administration container, and an electronic processing unit connected to an actuation means are provided with the transfer station. A processing unit controls the transfer mechanism and fluid transfer conditions according to a predetermined transfer demand entered by the actuation means.

摘要: An enclosure device for a decapper for removing a cap from a laboratory sample container, a decapper and an apparatus comprising a decapper. The decapper comprises a cap gripper comprising at least two gripping jaws. At least one of the at least two gripping jaws is displaceable between a holding position and a release position in a radial direction. The enclosure device comprises an outer enclosure portion and an inner enclosure portion disposed within the outer enclosure portion. The outer enclosure portion comprises a wall portion and a reservoir portion at a bottom of the wall portion. The wall portion is configured to enclose the two gripping jaws. The inner enclosure portion is configured to receive a laboratory sample container and comprises at least two openings configured to allow the two gripping jaws to extend therethrough. The enclosure device is configured to be mounted to the cap gripper.
