Abstract:
Techniques for dicing wafer assemblies containing multiple metal device dies, such as vertical light-emitting diode (VLED), power device, laser diode, and vertical cavity surface emitting laser device dies, are provided. Devices produced accordingly may benefit from greater yields and enhanced performance over conventional metal devices, such as higher brightness of the light-emitting diode and increased thermal conductivity. Moreover, such techniques are applicable to GaN-based electronic devices in cases where there is a high heat dissipation rate of the metal devices that have an original non- (or low) thermally conductive and/or non- (or low) electrically conductive carrier substrate that has been removed.

A lighting device for a barbecue stove includes a fixing seat mounted on a faceplate of the barbecue stove, a lamp body detachably mounted on the fixing seat, a lighting member mounted on a first end of the lamp body, a drive member mounted on a second end of the lamp body to drive the lamp body, and a magnetic member mounted on the drive member. Thus, the magnetic member of the lighting device is magnetically attached to a metallic surface located at any position of the barbecue stove so that the lighting device is arbitrarily attached to any position of the barbecue stove to provide a lighting effect.

An apparatus for testing dental occlusion of a person under test includes a dental occlusion sensing unit that includes two occlusion force sensors mounted fixedly and respectively to two mounting ends of a connecting tube and operable to sense an occlusion force applied on each of top and bottom faces thereof so as to output an electrical signal corresponding to the occlusion force sensed thereby, and two transmission lines connected electrically to the occlusion force sensors and a processing unit and extending through the connecting tube for transmitting the electrical signals from the occlusion force sensors to the processing unit. The processing unit is operable to generate occlusion force information in relation to the electrical signals from the occlusion force sensors and to be displayed on a display unit.

Next, a protection film is formed on the inner surface of the reaction chamber, wherein a gap is formed between the protection wafer and the wafer holder, and a cooling gas is guided therebetween simultaneously.

A pipe connector includes a pipe-connecting piece hollowed in its interior, a pipe-covering piece covered on the pipe-connecting piece, and a sealing piece detachably provided on the outside of one end of the pipe-covering piece. The pipe-connecting piece has a first connecting port for communicating with its interior. At least one through hole is provided on the pipe-connecting piece for communicating with its interior. Further, two leakage-proof washers are provided at an interval with the through hole disposed therebetween. The pipe-covering piece has an annular sheath and a second connecting port provided on the outer wall of the annular sheath. The annular sheath is covered on the pipe-connecting piece to allow its inner wall to tightly contact with the two leakage-proof washers, so that the second connecting port is in communication with the interior of the pipe-connecting piece.

An external megaphone system of the mobile phone for broadcasting an incoming call sound signal of the mobile phone is provided. The mobile phone has a body with a sound interface and a built-in megaphone provided therein. When the external megaphone device is inserted into the sound output hole (not the earphone output) of the mobile phone by a user, an incoming call ringtone signal of a sound interface is output to the external megaphone device and the built-in megaphone. Also, the sound output hole of external megaphone system of the mobile phone is further provided with a mechanical switch or an electronic switch as so to control the communication between the sound interface and the external megaphone device to output the incoming call ringtone signal of the sound interface.

The present invention discloses a request transmission mechanism and a method thereof capable of reducing request transmission time. The method and mechanism in accordance with the present invention allow a request to bypass unnecessary stages in a computer system by usage of a bypassing rule and a dependence controller. The dependence controller comprises a comparator capable of receiving the instruction from the dependence controller and enabling a designated bypassing path if the request is allowed to bypass. A plurality of dependence lines are connected to the dependence controller for indicating a dependent status between at least two requests. The request may be allowed to bypass a stage even though the buffer of the stage is not empty. The method and mechanism of the present invention is capable of reducing the request transmission time by determining the dependence between the requests.

The present invention provides methods, compositions, and systems for mass spectrometric analysis of magnetic nanoparticles displaying ligands on their surface. For example, the present invention provides methods of screening a sample for the presence of at least one analyte using ligand conjugated magnetic nanoparticles, magnetic separation, and mass spectrometric analysis. The present invention also relates to MALDI matrix compositions comprising ligand conjugated magnetic nanoparticles.
Abstract:
A method for retrieving original intact characteristics of images heavily polluted by Gaussian impulse noises is based on the fuzzy automata theory retrieves the characteristics of images heavily corrupted by Gaussian impulse noises. The retrieved characteristics are represented with fuzzy sets, each of which is also called a fuzzy partition of the image histogram. The membership functions are used for noise filtering, multi-level thresholding, segmentation, and edge detection. This invention further utilizes the result images of filtering and thresholding to perform the second phase processing. After two-phase filtering, the signal-to-noise ratio SNR and the peak signal to noise ratio PSNR are increased up to 10 db for images polluted by noises higher than 50%. Having very low complexity of processing time and memory space, the kernel operation of the algorithm can be implemented with super-scalar super-pipelined 16-bit floating-point processing unit and achieve 24-bit true color results.
