Abstract:
A condenser-type acoustic sensor is provided. The acoustic sensor includes an acoustic chamber formed by etching an upper portion of a substrate, an insulating layer formed on the substrate and having a central area etched so that the acoustic chamber is exposed, a diaphragm formed on the insulating layer, and a stationary electrode formed on the diaphragm. Thus, a nonlinear component resulting from horizontal movement of the support and the diaphragm is removed to improve a sound-pressure response characteristic, and a substrate backside process can be omitted to simplify a fabrication process and improve a yield.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing fine patterns of semiconductor devices using a double exposure patterning process for manufacturing the second photoresist patterns by simply exposing without an exposure mask. The method comprises the steps of: forming a first photoresist pattern on a semiconductor substrate on which a layer to be etched is formed; coating a composition for a mirror interlayer on the first photoresist pattern to form a mirror interlayer; forming a photoresist layer on the resultant; and forming a second photoresist pattern which is made by a scattered reflection of the mirror-interlayer and positioned between the first photoresist patterns, by exposing the photoresist layer to a light having energy which is lower than a threshold energy (Eth) of the photoresist layer without an exposure mask, and then developing the same.

Abstract:
A method of covering a polyolefin surface with flocculent includes applying a polyolefin-bondable adhesive to at least a portion of a polyolefin surface located on a structure. An epoxy bond material is then applied to the portion of the structure. Then, a flocculent is applied to the portion of the structure. The polyolefin-bondable adhesive and the epoxy bond material can be applied by submerging the portion of polyolefin surface into each. An apparatus includes a structure having a polyolefin surface selected from a group consisting of polyethylene and polypropylene. A layer polyolefin-bondable adhesive overlies and abuttingly contacts a portion of the polyolefin surface of the structure. A layer of epoxy bond material overlies and abuttingly contacts the layer of polyolefin-bondable adhesive. A flocculent overlies and abuttingly contacts the layer of epoxy bond material.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for driving a liquid crystal display enhances display quality and reduces power consumption. A portion of inputted data may be reproduced and used in the generation of dummy data. A scanning pulse is applied to gate lines of a liquid crystal display panel supporting lines crossing the gate lines. Consecutive ones of thin film transistors within columns of liquid crystal calls may be alternately coupled to adjacent ones of data lines. The inputted data and the dummy data are applied to the data lines in synchrony with the scanning pulse.
