Abstract: A method and system to perform functions including receiving a selection of a vehicle operating condition (VOC) and multiple data parameters from a vehicle. The functions include determining that a first data parameter of the multiple data parameters indicates an occurrence of the VOC. The functions include displaying, on a display, a time-based indicator, a VOC indicator pertaining to the VOC in proximity to the time-based indicator, and a first graphical representation of a first portion of the multiple data parameters from the vehicle. The first portion of the multiple data parameters from the vehicle does not include the first data parameter. The functions further include receiving a selection of the displayed VOC indicator, and displaying, in response receiving a selection of the VOC, a second graphical representation of a second portion of the multiple data parameters. The second portion of the multiple data parameters includes the first data parameter.

Abstract: A motorized hand tool such as a cordless ratchet wrench that has a motor, and a housing that encloses or houses the motor. The motor includes one or more exhaust ports that expel exhaust air out of the motor. The housing includes one or more exhaust ports and inwardly projecting protrusions or deflectors that extend around the exhaust ports. The inwardly projecting protrusions/deflectors extend in a direction towards the motor exhaust ports, and/or are at least partially disposed in the motor exhaust ports to direct exhaust air out of the housing and prevent exhaust air from recirculating near the motor and electronic components of the tool.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a method includes receiving, from a computing device, (i) a user identifier, (ii) a vehicle identifier for a vehicle, and (iii) contextual information related to vehicle service content currently displayed on the computing device. Based on the contextual information, the method includes determining a vehicle scan tool function to perform on the vehicle. The method further includes identifying a vehicle scan tool associated with the user identifier. The method also includes causing a selectable vehicle scan tool initialization option to be displayed on the computing device. The method further includes receiving, from the computing device, a selection of the selectable vehicle scan tool initialization option. In response to receiving the selection, the method additionally providing instructions to initialize the vehicle scan tool to perform the vehicle scan tool function on the vehicle.

Abstract: A client computing system (CCS) receives a download including (i) an image representative of a vehicle component, (ii) symbol data associated with a first symbol, (iii) a set of one or more selectable identifiers, and (iv) supplemental information associated with the vehicle component. Each selectable identifier can indicate a respective portion of the supplemental information. After receiving the download, the CCS displays the image and the first symbol without displaying the set and the supplemental information. While the image and the first symbol are displayed without the set, the CCS receives a first input corresponding to selection of the first symbol. The CCS then responsively displays the set. While the set is displayed, the CCS receives a second input corresponding to selection of a first selectable identifier from the set. The CCS then responsively displays the respective portion of the supplemental information indicated by the first selectable identifier.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for calibrating and aligning automotive sensors, such as advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) sensors. Embodiments include a system having an image sensor mounted on a fixture in a known pose relative to the fixture. The image sensor is for viewing a target disposed on a vehicle and having a known pose relative to the vehicle, and for capturing image data of the target. A data processor is provided for performing the steps of calculating, using the image data, a pose of the target; calculating a pose of the image sensor relative to the vehicle using the calculated pose of the target; and generating instructions for positioning the fixture at a predetermined pose relative to the vehicle using the calculated pose of the image sensor relative to the vehicle.

Abstract: Methods and system pertaining to modifying a diagnostic flowchart are described. A method can include (i) receiving, from a diagnostic computing device, a request indicative of a vehicle problem, (ii) selecting a first diagnostic flowchart associated with the vehicle problem from a plurality of diagnostic flowcharts. Each diagnostic flowchart includes one or more ordered and performable path elements, where each path element leads to one or more ordered decision elements, where each path element comprises one or more diagnostic steps. The method also includes (iii) sending the first diagnostic flowchart for performance at a diagnostic computing device, (iv) determining first feedback data associated with a performance of the first diagnostic flowchart at the diagnostic computing device, and (v) modifying the first diagnostic flowchart based at least on the first feedback data.
