Abstract:
Process for the obtention of HFC-227ea having a reduced content of organic impurities, comprising at least subjecting a crude HFC-227ea to two distillation steps at different pressures.
Abstract:
An electronic transaction, in which a payment amount is deducted from a customer account and added to a provider account, is prepared in cooperation between an account computer and a browser-enabled customer computer. The account computer forwards invoice and credit information as well as calculation instructions in portions of a page to the customer computer. The customer computer interprets a first page portion with a browser to present different invoice items and credit items on a screen. A user selection of the invoice and credit items is received and then the payment amount is calculated by offsetting the amounts of the invoice and credit items with instructions in a second page portion. Thereafter, a response with the payment amount is returned to the account computer.
Abstract:
An arrangement with a height-adjustable component includes an approximately vertically extending upright which bears the component, the upright including a pneumatic spring. The pneumatic spring has a cylinder having a bottom end connected to a fixed part of the arrangement. A piston displaceably arranged in the cylinder subdivides the cylinder into a bottom cylinder chamber and a top cylinder chamber and has a piston rod at one end. The piston rod projects through the top cylinder chamber and is guided out of the top end of the cylinder and bears the component at its free end. The top and bottom cylinder chambers are filled with a gas filling, under positive pressure, which subjects the piston to an upwardly directed push-out force corresponding approximately to the opposing weight-induced force of the component. A valve allows a gas flow from the top into the bottom cylinder chamber and blocks the same in the opposite flow direction. A manually actuable connecting valve selectively connects the bottom and the top chambers.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for adjusting the selecting out of winnowings in the manufacture of smokable products, in particular cigarettes, wherein the current size distribution of a stream of tobacco particles passing a measuring point, per unit of time, is detected and compared with a settable nominal size distribution, and wherein an arrangement for separating the winnowings is continually adjusted, depending on the result of said comparison, and to a corresponding device comprising a sensor for detecting the current size distribution, an arrangement for inputting a nominal size distribution, an arrangement for comparing said current size distribution with said settable nominal size distribution, and lastly an adjusting arrangement for setting the arrangement for separating the winnowings, depending on the output signal of said comparing arrangement.
Abstract:
A valve comprising a valve carrier on which a plurality of control units are mounted adjacent to one another. Each control unit possesses a liquid-tight casing body in which the component of a valve unit are received and is mounted on the valve carrier with a seal in between. It is in this manner that a liquid-tight, encapsulated and individual accommodation of the singular valve units is ensured.
Abstract:
In the method for manufacturing a cable (CA1), the individual leads (AD1 through ADn) are supplied to a stranding apparatus (RE, RA) that produces a stranded bundle (SB1), whereby the material (MMA1) for the cable cladding (MA1) is applied onto the stranded bundle (SB1) produced in this way with an extruder head (EK1), and the stranding point for the stranding lies in the region of the extruder head (EK1). The individual leads (AD1 through ADn) are already brought into contact with the material (MMA1) for the cable cladding (MA1) when or before they have just been completely stranded to form the stranded bundle (SB1).
Abstract:
This disclosure relates to a device for generating control signals, comprising an actuating element which for generating the control signals is adjustable along at least one adjustment direction into a plurality of adjustment positions, and at least one actuating drive which is adapted and provided to apply a restoring force onto the actuating element at an actual position in the direction of a target position specified by a control unit.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for operating a public address system with a control center to which loudspeakers are connected via a two-wire loop system that is routed via isolator modules. A fault can be located on the loop system if the control center measures the impedance of the loop system successively from isolator module to isolator module and the impedance of the entire loop system, inputs the measured values as target values into an impedance table, periodically measures the impedance of the entire loop system during operation, compares said impedance with the corresponding target value from the impedance table, generates a fault message upon determining a deviation, ascertains the fault location by comparing the measured value with the individual target values in the impedance table, and displays said fault location.
Abstract:
The use of substituted fused pyrimidinones and dihydropyrimidinones of the formula (I) or salts thereof where the radicals of the formula (I) are each as defined in the description, for enhancing stress tolerance in plants to abiotic stress, and for invigorating plant growth and/or for increasing plant yield.
Abstract:
Process to generate synthesis gas and/or liquid raw materials and/or energy materials from waste and/or biomass by performing the following steps: a) solvolysis of the organic components of waste and/or biomass in an alkaline solution or hydrate smelter at a temperature range of 150° to 250° C. and pressure between 3 and 12 bar, whereby the organic components are converted into at least one liquid phase and the inorganic components are sedimented; b) elimination of the inorganic components from the liquid phase by physical separation methods; c) transfer of the vapors generated during the solvolysis into a rectification column, where the organic components are separated from water; and d) further separation of the organic components by rectification, extraction and sorption and/or conversion by thermal gasification into synthesis gas or burnable gas.
