    摘要: A liquid crystal display device reduces the color shift problem typically observed at wide viewing angles; the device includes a phase retardation compensation film, a biaxial compensation film, and a liquid crystal display panel between the two films. Refractive indexes of the phase retardation compensation film having a thickness d1 and the biaxial compensation film having a thickness d2 are nx1, ny1, nz1, nx2, ny2, and nz2 in a first, a second and a third directions perpendicular to each other. The third direction is parallel to the normal directions of the surfaces of the phase retardation compensation film and the biaxial compensation film. Optical compensation values of the phase retardation compensation film and the biaxial compensation film are Rth1 and Rth2 and derived from [(nx1+ny1)/2−nz1]×d1 and [(nx2+ny2)/2−nz2]×d2 respectively. Rth1 is not less than 50 nm, and the sum of Rth1 and Rth2 can be equal to 271 nm.

    摘要: A method of mapping motion pictures experts group (MPEG) video information for improved efficiency is presented, wherein image information is stored in blocks of memory referred to as tiles. Tiles are mapped in memory so that adjacent tiles only correspond to different banks of memory. A method and system is provided for organizing and routing multiple memory requests from a plurality of clients to multiple memories. Requests from a plurality of clients, including a plurality of clients of the same type, such as multiple MPEG decoders, are directed to different memory controllers by a router. The memory controllers order the client requests by requests among similar client types. The memory controllers also order the client requests by different client types. The ordered requests are then delivered to memory. Returned data is sent back to the clients.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for storing and displaying video image data in a video graphics system is accomplished by receiving a video data stream, where the video data stream includes compressed video image data. The video image stream is parsed to separate the compressed video image data from other data within the data stream. The compressed video image data is decompressed to produce video image data that includes a luminosity plane, a first color plane, and a second color plane. Members of the first and second color planes are compacted together to form color pairs where a plurality of the color pairs form a color line. Each of the color lines is interleaved with at least one luminosity line to produce an interleaved plane. The interleaved plane is stored in memory. Portions of the interleaved video image data are retrieved from the interleaved plane. The portions are structured such that video image data that are located near each other within the memory are fetched together. A video output is generated based on the retrieved groups of image data where the luminosity and color values within each of the fetched groups of image data are utilized together to produce the video output.

    摘要: A substrate etching method and a substrate processing device, the substrate etching method includes: S1: placing a substrate to be processed into a reaction chamber; S2: supplying etching gas into the reaction chamber; S3: turning on an excitation power supply to generate plasma in the reaction chamber; S4: turning on a bias power supply to apply bias power to the substrate; S5: turning off the bias power supply, and meanwhile, starting to supply deposition gas into the reaction chamber; S6: stopping supply of the deposition gas into the reaction chamber, and meanwhile, turning on the bias power supply; S7: repeating steps S5-S6, until the etching process is completed. In the whole etching process, the etching operation is always performed, and the deposition operation is performed sometimes. Therefore, during the deposition operation, the plasma in the reaction chamber can etch away at least a part of deposited polymers formed by the deposition operation on a sidewall of an etched section, so that the sidewall of the etched section of the substrate is smooth.
