摘要: A method of delivering printed images to a recipient, includes the steps of electronically transmitting digital images and image locator information from a location remote from and over a communication channel to a central receiving agency which stores such images and locator information in memory; and identifying a particular stored image in the memory using the corresponding image locator information and the location of one or more recipients and printing locations corresponding to each of the recipients. The method further includes transmitting the identified particular stored image in the memory to the printing location of each of the recipients; and printing the image at the printing location of each of the recipients and delivering the printed image in a package to the location corresponding to of each of the recipients.

摘要: A method for determining the appropriate dosage of a medication to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in an individual who has ADHD. The method comprises sampling the peripheral skin temperature of left and right like extremities of an individual during a predetermined time interval when the individual is in a sensory deprived state to provide respective left and right sampled peripheral skin temperature data, processing the sampled peripheral skin temperature data; processing the sampled peripheral skin temperature data including filtering, differentiation, and conversion to the frequency domain to derive spectral signatures whose magnitudes are indicative of the level of ADHD manifestation. The effectiveness of the medication is calculated by comparison to predetermined threshold values.

摘要: A method and system is disclosed for printing an authenticatable image having an embedded image into a receiver having a discernible physical characteristic, such that the printed image can be used to authenticate the receiver which includes scanning the receiver to produce information related to the discernible physical characteristic of the receiver, and providing a carrier which includes information related to the scanned receiver discernible physical characteristic. The method also includes combining the carrier with an input image to form the authenticatable image having the embedded image, and printing the authenticatable image having the embedded image onto the receiver.

摘要: A method for determining the appropriate dosage of a medication to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in an individual who has ADHD comprising: sampling the peripheral skin temperature of a human subject during a predetermined time interval when the subject is in an inactive state to provide sampled peripheral skin temperature data; analyzing the sampled peripheral skin temperature data for a pre-selected parameter to determine whether the pre-selected parameter has a value indicative of ADHD; and determining the proper dosage of a medication to treat ADHD based upon the determined value of the pre-selected parameter. At a time subsequent to administering the dosage, it is determined if a previously administered dosage of a medication is effective at removing the effects of ADHD as measured by this pre-selected parameter.
