    摘要： The invention includes a hunting blind and frame tall enough to allow an adult male to stand upright within the frame. Horizontal frame members are connected to vertical frame members to increase the strength of the frame. The horizontal frame members also serve as weapon rests. The blind may include several selectively openable and closable openings having a lower edge positioned vertically proximate to the horizontal frame members. The blind can include magnetic and/or ferromagnetic elements disposed proximate the opening. The elements are useful for magnetically detachably attaching a window to the blind to cover the opening.

A bond seal image, safeguarded against piracy, appears in Web pages indicating the existence of bond coverage. A dynamically updated gauge displays the margin of coverage available under the bond at any given moment. Means of integrating the information technology of auction site and surety company are also disclosed. The invention makes possible an unprecedented level of security in user-to-user auction environments and eliminates the need for online escrow services. Means of accepting bidder deposit accounts is also disclosed, enabling automatic, electronic payment the moment an Internet auction closes and eliminating the need for online payment services.

A bolt preferably permits a projectile to be loaded into a chamber during a loading operation. The bolt can be configured to be opened by the application of pneumatic force. A valve is preferably located in the body and selectively supplies compressed gas from a compressed gas source to the chamber during a firing operation. An electrical circuit is also preferably arranged in the body to initiate the firing operation of the paintball gun in response to actuation of the trigger.

    摘要： A network peripheral support method including a client with a general purpose software capability and a server connected to the peripheral. The server of the present invention waits for a client to attempt to open a connection with the peripheral. The client sends a peripheral connection request via a data packet to the server, and the server accepts the connection. The server determines an availability of the peripheral and locks the peripheral so that it cannot be used by other clients. Thereafter, the server opens a connection with the peripheral, if it is available, and notifies the client of the peripheral availability. The server then waits for predetermined data from the client, which when received, results in the client having control of the peripheral for at least a first predetermined time period, and when received sends the data to the client. The server closes the connection with the client upon completion of sending the data to the client.

    摘要： A sound engine in a processor-based system utilizing real-time synthesis optimizes synthesis time, maximizes the number of fully-synthesized sound requests and preserves currently excessive sound requests. During synthesis, the sound engine attempts to full-synthesize all requests. If the sound engine determines that remaining sound requests are excessive and cannot be fully-synthesized, it preserves each excessive request by synthesizing a substitute waveform segment. If the sound engine determines that limiting the number of preserved requests is required, it synthesizes a concluding waveform segment for and then discards selected requests during selected synthesis intervals. Both substitute-synthesis and discarding of sound requests are achieved with minimized detrimental impact on ongoing sound performances.

    摘要： Disclosed is a system for holding firearm cartridges, such as shotgun shells, and other related accessories. The system may be utilized on wearing apparel such as hunting vests and belts, on structures such as duck boats and blinds, or on vehicles. The system has a rack portion that may be permanently secured to such apparel, structures, or vehicles. Attachable to the rack portion are rigid receivers with cylindrical bores sized to a particular size of cartridge. Each cylindrical bore has a tab extending inwardly into the cylindrical bore that provides an interference fit with the cartridges to secure the cartridges in place. The receiver and the rack portion have cooperating sliding engagement members to removably secure the receivers to the rack portion. The sliding engagement members on the rack portion are arranged on a plurality of sequential segments with breaks between each sequential segment. The rack portion flexes at both ends and at the breaks to allow the rack portion to follow the contours of whatever it may be attached to. Accessory receivers with closeable cases for holding such items as sunglasses, field glasses, or the like may be slidably engaged with the rack portions instead of or in addition to the cartridge receivers.
