摘要: The invention relates to a DC/DC converter for use in a decentralized power generation system. If a DC/DC converter is physically separated from a power receiving component and connected to such a power receiving component via a DC bus, a short-circuit on the DC bus may endanger the system and service personnel. In order to minimize such a risk, it is proposed that the DC/DC converter comprises a converting component for DC/DC converting a direct current supplied by a power generating unit and for supplying a resulting converted direct current to a DC bus, and that the DC/DC converter comprises in addition a control component arranged to monitor a voltage at the outputs of the DC/DC converter and to cause the converting component to enter a short-circuit protection mode if the monitored voltage lies below a predetermined voltage threshold. The invention relates equally to a corresponding system and to a corresponding method.

摘要: Recently, the use of class-D audio amplifiers has become more and more widespread. In contrast to the generally employed class-AB linear amplification technology, class-D allows for improved efficiency. However, the class-D principle is known for its poor distortion characteristics. According to the present invention a digital amplifier (18) is provided for converting an audio signal to a power output, comprising a ripple suppression circuit (16) for suppressing voltage ripples in a supply voltage supplied to die bridge circuit with (6) at least one pair of switches. The ripple suppression circuit (16) suppresses ripples in die supply voltage supplied to a switch in the bridge circuit (6), which has been found to cause a major part of the distortions in the output signal of the digital amplifier (18).

摘要: A circuit arrangement is described for a microcontroller having an improved energy consumption which is achieved in that the microcontroller (2) is connected to its operating clock only during evaluation of a signal. A switching means (5) through-connecting the operating clock when a “logic 1”, signal is present at the control input is arranged between the microcontroller (2) and the clock generator (6). This “logic 1” signal is generated by setting a flip-flop (4, 7) for example, when receiving a remote control signal. The program run of the microcontroller (2) is stopped at a defined breakpoint so that there is no transient time.

摘要: The present invention relates to a bidirectional semiconductor switch (M1, M2) with extremely low control power consumption and a bootstrap circuit which allows reliable start of operation of the switch and the hosting device after unlimited duration of mains interruptions. Intelligent control options are provided by operating from a small energy storage and no extra means are required to recover from a depleted energy storage condition. The absence of audible noise and mechanical wear also enables more frequent recharging cycles and allows smaller and thus cheaper energy storage components.
