摘要: A method and apparatus for analytical determination of a concentration of an analyte in a biological sample include a series of hardware elements and method steps which perform at least two detection measurements, with each detection measurement including the step of irradiating light at an irradiation site as primary light into the biological sample through a boundary surface. The light is propagated along a light path, and light is detected as it emerges from the biological sample as secondary light through a detection site. The irradiation site and detection site are separated by a measuring distance. At least two detection measurements are performed with at least two different measurement light paths between the irradiation site and the detection site. Each of the detection measurements is a frequency-domain spectroscopic measurement which is performed at at least two different wavelengths of light, and includes a comparison of a phase shift of the secondary light with the primary light as a first measurement variable, and an intensity of the secondary light as a second measurement variable. The method also includes the steps of determining the analyte concentration based upon the first and second measurement variables.

摘要: A test carrier analysis system for analyzing a body fluid, the system including a test carrier (1) with a detection layer (20) on which a detectable change specific to the analysis takes place, obeying an evaluation curve, to the concentration of the component, and wherein the evaluation curve is dependent on the manufacturing batch of the test carrier. The system further includes an evaluator having a measuring and digitization circuit (25) which generates from the physically detectable change an intermediate result independent of the evaluation curve in the form of a finite number of digital output states, and having a display (7) for indicating the output states in the form of an alpha and/or numeric code. A readable information carrier element is provided having a correlation thereon between the alphanumeric codes of the display (7) corresponding to the output states and the concentration values determined in accordance with the evaluation curve.

摘要: Disclosed is an infusion system for administering a liquid medicament, particularly insulin. Said infusion system comprises a cannula support unit which is properly attached to a patient's body, an infusion cannula to be inserted into the patient's body, and a pump unit that can be connected to the cannula support unit and encompasses a pump, a battery for supplying power to the pump, and a storage volume for the medicament that is to be administered. The pump unit and the cannula support unit are adapted to one another in such a way that the pump unit rests against the cannula support unit once the pump unit has been connected to the cannula support unit. The disclosed infusion system also comprises a charging station for the pump unit in order to recharge the battery of the pump unit.

摘要: Methods and devices for analyzing body fluids, in particular for determining blood glucose. Body fluid is applied to a test element for single-use in a test device and the test element is optically coupled to a photometric measuring unit by means of an optical transmission system, wherein a time course of measuring values is recorded after the body fluid has been applied in order to detect a component of the body fluid on the test element. The transmission behavior of the optical transmission system may be controlled by recording measuring values at two different measurement wavelengths.

摘要: The invention relates to a puncturing system for generating a puncture wound for obtaining a sample of a body fluid, comprising a press-on part to be pressed onto a body part in which a puncture wound is to be generated, a triggering means, by the actuation of which a user can trigger a puncturing motion of a puncturing element after the press-on part is pressed on, and a testing facility for determining at least one test parameter on which a sample-obtaining probability depends. A securing facility is also provided that, in a locked state, locks the triggering means such that no puncturing motion can be triggered, and, in a triggering state, releases the triggering means such that a puncturing motion can be triggered by actuation thereof, whereby the securing facility is transitioned from the locked state to the triggering state by the testing facility when the test parameter determined by the testing facility meets defined minimum requirements. A signaling facility is also provided for signaling a transition of the securing facility to the triggering state and/or for signaling that the securing facility is in the triggering state. The invention also relates to a method for preparing a puncturing system for generating a puncture wound.
