    摘要: A compact memory card connector with an extended communication distance is provided. This connector has a loading port at its one end, through which a memory card can be accommodated therein. The connector is equipped with a base made of an electrical insulating material, a plurality of contacts arranged on the base so as to electrically contact connecting terminals of the memory card inserted in the connector, and an antenna block, which houses a secondary antenna and is slidable in a direction of inserting the memory card into the connector.

    摘要: An exhaust gas-purifying catalyst includes a carrier, and an active component formed of a noble metal, carried by the carrier. The carrier has a core portion comprising a cubic or tetragonal stabilized zirconia-based composite oxide containing at least one stabilizing element, and a surface layer portion including a heat resistant zirconia-based composite oxide formed on a surface of the core portion. The surface layer has a specific surface area which is larger than a specific surface area of the core portion. A part of the noble metal is solid-solutioned into the zirconia-based composite oxide of the surface layer portion, and the balance of the noble metal is carried on a surface of the surface layer portion.

    摘要: A memory card socket structure includes a card compartment for allowing a memory card to be inserted thereinto or taken out therefrom, a contact block disposed at a rear side of the card compartment, a slider moved back and forth between a position near the opening side and a position near the rear side in the card compartment along with an insertion and extraction of the memory card, a coil spring for pressing the slider toward the opening side of the card compartment, and a spring guide fixed at the contact block and elongated toward the opening side of the card compartment to be inserted through the coil spring.     摘要: In a connector for memory card, it is objected to stabilize contact of detection switch for detecting insertion of a memory card, and to prevent breakage of the memory card due to bounce-out when it is taken out. The detection switch is held on a contact block with contacts which are to be contacted with terminals of the memory card, and comprised of a fixed contact plate and a movable spring piece. A groove having substantially V-shape is formed on a contacting portion of the movable spring piece so as to contact with the fixed contact plate at two points. Furthermore, elastic protrusions that can fit to recessed portions for locking formed on the memory card just before the slider holding the memory card reaches to an initial position is formed on a top plate of the housing, so that the bounce-out of the memory card is prevented.

    摘要: An illuminating optical system capable of preventing a change in the polarized status of a linearly polarized light passing through a light transmitting member formed of a cubic-system crystal material such as fluorite. An illuminating optical system comprising a light source unit (1) for suppling a linearly polarized light to illuminate surfaces (M, W) to be illuminated with a light from the light source unit. The system is provided with a polarized status switching means (10, 20) disposed on a light path between the light source unit and the surfaces to be illuminated, for switching the polarized status of a light, that illuminates the surfaces to be illuminated, between a linearly polarized status and a non-linearly polarized status. The polarized status switching means has a phase member (10) for changing the polarization surface of an incident linearly polarized light as needed, and a depolarizer (20) for depolarizing an incident linearly polarized light as needed. A phase advancing axis direction in association with the double refraction variation of a light transmitting member formed of fluorite is so set as to almost agree with or cross almost perpendicularly to the field vibration direction of a linearly polarized light incident to a light transmitting member.

    摘要: An illumination optical system for, when installed in an exposure system, realizing a suitable illumination condition by varying the polarized state of the illumination light according to the pattern characteristics of the mask while suppressing the loss of the intensity of the light. The illumination optical system has a light source unit for supplying a linearly polarized light for illuminating surfaces to be illuminated therewith, and a polarized state changing device for changing the polarized state of the illuminating light from a predetermined polarized state to a nonpolarized state and vice versa. The polarized state changing device is arranged in the optical path between the light source unit and the surfaces to be illuminated. The polarized state changing device can be removed from the illumination optical path and has a depolarizer for selectively depolarizing the incident linearly polarized light.
