摘要: Coated gasoline particulate filters (cGPFs) that are produced according to varied material compositions and catalyst configurations are disclosed. The cGPFs include Fe—Ce (rich)-activated Rh compositions that provide greater catalytic functionality. These cGPFs are incorporated within engine systems as components of TWC systems for controlling and reducing engine exhaust emissions. The conversion performance of these TWC systems is assessed and compared employing worldwide harmonized light duty test cycle (WLTC) protocol within a gasoline fueled internal combustion engine. These TWC systems exhibit a significant catalytic performance when compared with the catalytic performance of a PGM-based Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) catalyst employed in TWC applications. Further, TWC catalysts are produced including Fe-activated Rh layers comprising dopant elements. The catalytic performance of the TWC catalysts is evaluated by performing light-off and standard isothermal oxygen storage capacity oscillating tests. The TWC catalysts exhibit improved catalytic performance and significant oxygen storage capacity.

摘要: A nitrous oxide (N2O) removal catalyst composite is described, which includes: a N2O removal catalytic material on a carrier, wherein the catalytic material comprises a platinum group metal (PGM) component on a ceria-containing support having a single phase, cubic fluorite crystal structure. The catalytic material is effective to decompose nitrous oxide (N2O) to nitrogen (N2) and oxygen (O2) and/or to reduce N2O to N2 and water (H2O) and/or (CO2) under conditions of an exhaust stream of an internal combustion engine operating under conditions that are stoichiometric or lean with periodic rich transient excursions. Methods of making and using the same are also provided.

摘要: A process of oxidizing an alcohol for the production of its corresponding carbonyl compounds is disclosed, wherein the oxidation is performed with oxygen or gases containing oxygen in the presence of a catalyst comprising at least a gold compound and a copper compound. Said alcohol oxidation by gaseous oxidant can achieve a high yield and selectivity with minimized degradation products or waste organic solvents.

摘要: Provided are a method for producing a composite oxide and the composite oxide. The method includes steps of: (a) preparing a Ce aqueous solution not less than 80 mol % of which Ce ions are tetravalent, and a Zr aqueous solution; (b1) mixing the Zr aqueous solution and a portion of the Ce aqueous solution to prepare a mixed aqueous solution (X1); (c1) hydrothermally processing the solution (X1); (b2) adding the remainder of the Ce aqueous solution of step (a) to a colloidal solution (Y1) of a composite salt obtained from step (c1) to prepare a colloidal solution (Y2) of a composite salt; (c2) hydrothermally processing the solution (Y2); (d) mixing a colloidal solution (Y3) of a composite salt obtained from step (c2) with an alkaline solution and a surfactant to prepare a precipitate; and (e) calcining the precipitate.

The method includes the steps of: (a) preparing a Ce aqueous solution not less than 80 mol % of which Ce ions are tetravalent, and a Zr aqueous solution containing Zr ions; (b1) mixing the Zr aqueous solution and a portion of the Ce aqueous solution to prepare a mixed aqueous solution (X1); (c1) hydrothermally processing solution (X1); (b2) adding the remainder of the Ce aqueous solution prepared in step (a) to a colloidal solution (Y1) of a composite salt obtained from step (c1) to prepare a colloidal solution (Y2) of a composite salt; (c2) hydrothermally processing solution (Y2) obtained from step (b2); (d) mixing a colloidal solution (Y3) of a composite salt obtained from step (c2) with an alkaline solution and a surfactant to prepare a precipitate; and (e) calcining the precipitate.

摘要: A zoned catalyzed substrate monolith comprises a first zone and a second zone that are arranged axially in series. The first zone comprises a platinum group metal loaded on a support and a first base metal oxide or a first base metal loaded on an inorganic oxide. The first base metal oxide is iron oxide, manganese oxide, copper oxide, zinc oxide, nickel oxide, or mixtures thereof. The first base metal is iron, manganese, copper, zinc, nickel, or mixtures thereof. The second zone comprises copper or iron loaded on a zeolite and a second base metal oxide or a second base metal loaded on an inorganic oxide. The second base metal oxide is iron oxide, manganese oxide, copper oxide, zinc oxide, nickel oxide, or mixtures thereof. The second base metal is iron, manganese, copper, zinc, nickel, or mixtures thereof. The second base metal is different from the first base metal.
