    Abstract: A method is provided. The method includes allocating a specified time period for receiving an uplink reference signal to each node, receiving an uplink reference signal that is received in the specified time period and forwarded by each node, obtaining power or a signal-to-noise ratio of the uplink reference signal forwarded by each node, selecting a time period corresponding to an uplink reference signal with maximum power or a maximum signal-to-noise ratio as a positioning time period, obtaining a corresponding positioning node according to the positioning time period and the specified time period for receiving an uplink reference signal, and determining a location of the mobile terminal according to a location of the positioning node.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a positioning method, a positioning server, and a positioning system. The positioning method includes: separately obtaining, by a positioning server, location coordinates of M positioning nodes; separately obtaining, by the positioning server, a reference signal time difference RSTD between an ith positioning node and an (i+1)th positioning node in the M positioning nodes and a jth mobile terminal in two mobile terminals; determining, by the positioning server, a relative RSTD according to the RSTD; and determining, by the positioning server, location coordinates of the two mobile terminals according to the relative RSTD and the location coordinates of the M positioning nodes.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a positioning method, a positioning server, a terminal and a base station. The positioning method includes: notifying a terminal of difference threshold information; receiving cell subset information that is determined by the terminal according to the difference threshold information, where the cell subset information is used to indicate a cell pair whose reference signal measured value exceeds the difference threshold, or the cell subset information is used to indicate a cell pair whose reference signal measured value does not exceed the difference threshold; determining a configuration of a PRS according to the cell subset information, and notifying the terminal of the configuration of the PRS; and receiving an RSTD that is obtained by the terminal through measurement according to the configuration of the PRS, and determining a location of the terminal according to the RSTD.

    Abstract: When a terminal switches from a downlink subframe to an adjacent uplink subframe, generating a first guard period, where that the terminal does not process any signal in the first guard period is defined, that is, the terminal neither receives downlink data nor sends an uplink signal in the first guard period, and therefore uncertainty of a terminal behavior during a downlink-to-uplink switching process of the terminal is avoided, and successful sending of the uplink subframe can be ensured; and when the terminal switches from an uplink subframe to a downlink subframe, generating a second guard period, where the second guard period overlaps the uplink subframe or the downlink subframe, and that the terminal does not process any signal in the second guard period is defined, and therefore uncertainty of a terminal behavior during an uplink-to-downlink switching process of the terminal is avoided.

    Abstract: A drive test information exchange method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: receiving, by a positioning controller, a positioning request message sent by user equipment UE; sending, by the positioning controller, positioning assistance information to the UE after the positioning controller receives the positioning request message sent by the UE; receiving, by the positioning controller, a measurement result sent by the UE; obtaining, by the positioning controller, positioning information according to the measurement result; and sending, by the positioning controller, drive test information to a drive test unit according to the indication information.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for improving positioning performance of an artificial neural network. The method includes: establishing an initial ANN; optimizing the initial ANN by using a PSO algorithm, to obtain an optimized initial ANN; training the optimized initial ANN to obtain a trained ANN. According to a positioning method and apparatus provided in the embodiments of the present invention, when an ANN is used for positioning, positioning performance is improved by using a PSO algorithm to optimize a weight and an offset of each neural element in the ANN.
