    Abstract: Light and/or Inactive state connectivity and/or autonomous mobility techniques are contemplated. A WTRU may, for example, have an inactive/idle mode, a light connected/loosely connected/Inactive mode and/or a connected/fully connected/Active mode. A WTRU in light connected mode may have a WTRU context stored in a RAN. A WTRU may perform an area monitoring procedure while in light connected state. A WTRU may engage in autonomous mobility during light connectivity. A WTRU may move within a logical area (e.g., a RAN paging area), perhaps without notifying the network. The WTRU may provide notice when it has moved outside a logical area (e.g., update RAN paging area). Mobility in light connected state may be network controlled (e.g., to enable handover when data transfer may be allowed and/or ongoing). A WTRU may be reachable during a light connectivity state. A WTRU may engage in autonomous mobility during light connectivity and/or an Inactive state.

    Abstract: A method for use in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for initial access using a system signature or signature sequence is described herein. The WTRU may receive a system signature from at least one transmission-reception points (TRP) of a plurality of TRPs. The system signature may be associated with a numerology, a network slice, a discontinuous transmission (DTX) state, a control channel characteristic, and/or a network service. The WTRU may then determine with use of a stored access table a resource selection, an initial access method of a plurality of initial access methods, a network slice, a network service, or a group of the at least one TRP. The WTRU may then receive at least one random access response (RAR) message from the at least one TRP. The WTRU may then associate with the at least on TRP based on the received at least one RAR message.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, architectures, and interfaces for receiving a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast System (MBMS) service performed by a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) are provided. A method may include any of: receiving MBMS service configuration information including information indicating, for an MBMS service, an association between a transmission mode (TM) and a bandwidth part (BWP); receiving the MBMS service using a first BWP according to the received MBMS service configuration information; detecting a trigger for changing use of a BWP from using the first BWP to using a second BWP for receiving the MBMS service; determining a TM associated with the second BWP according to an association between a TM and the second BWP, according to an association indicated by the information included in the MBMS service configuration information; and receiving the specific MBMS service via the second BWP according to the TM associated with the second BWP.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for power saving in a wireless network are disclosed. A Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit (WTRU) may comprise a transmitter, a receiver, and a processor. The processor may determine a processing state pertaining to behavior of the WTRU and determine a minimum amount of resources to be processed for one or more sets of physical resources based on the determined processing state. Each respective set of physical resources may comprise resources in time, and any of frequency or space. For each respective set of physical resources, the time may comprise a frame structure associated with a numerology applicable to the respective set of physical resources, the frequency may comprise any of a frequency location, a bandwidth, or the numerology, and the space may comprise one or more beams. The processor may process the determined minimum amount of resources of the one of more sets of physical resources.

    Abstract: Embodiments include methods, systems, and apparatuses for receiving a first type of transmission and a second type of transmission. A WTRU may receive a first downlink control information (DCI) during a first downlink (DL) transmission interval allocating first radio resources in the first DL transmission interval for reception of a first type of transmission. The WTRU may receive data from the first type of transmission in the first radio resources. The WTRU may receive data from a second type of transmission in second radio resources that include one or more predetermined regions within the first radio resources. The WTRU may receive a second DCI during a subsequent second DL transmission interval indicating that the data from the first type of transmission was preempted by the data from the second type of transmission. The WTRU may process the data from the first type of transmission based on the second DCI.
