    摘要: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for controlling a tracking servo in a near field optics. Gap error signals are detected in a divided state, and a push pull signal is compensated based on the detected gap error signals. A photo detector detecting the gap error signals is divided into two areas such that movement of an image formed on the photo detector can be detected. The push pull signal is compensated by subtracting a value proportional to a difference value between the two gap error signals detected in the photo detector. The difference value between the two gap error signals is proportional to a dc offset component included in the push pull signal. Accordingly, it is possible to simply remove a dc offset included in a push pull signal without largely modifying the near field optics, so that it is possible to exactly perform a tracking servo operation.

The sensing switch includes a first insertion hole having a longitudinally extended shape and a second insertion hole having a circular shape, and the motor bracket includes first and second insertion members respectively inserted into the first and second insertion holes. An extended portion of the first insertion member has a size and a shape corresponding to those of the first insertion hole so that the sensing switch is fixed without movement when the first insertion member is inserted into the first insertion hole. A flat portion of the second insertion member is provided with a screw hole formed therethrough so that the sensing switch is firmly fixed to the motor bracket by inserting a screw into the second insertion hole and the screw hole.

    摘要: Provided are a semiconductor laser diode and a method of manufacturing the same. The semiconductor laser diode includes a lower cladding layer disposed on a substrate; a ridge including an optical waveguide layer, an active layer, an upper cladding layer, and an ohmic contact layer, which are sequentially stacked on the lower cladding layer, and having a predetermined width, which is obtained by performing a channel etching process on both sides of the ridge; an oxide layer disposed on surfaces of the upper and lower cladding layer to control the width of the ridge; a dielectric layer disposed on left and right channels of the ridge; an upper electrode layer disposed on the entire surface of the resultant structure to enclose the ridge and the dielectric layer; and a lower electrode layer disposed on a bottom surface of the substrate. The method is simpler than a conventional process of manufacturing a semiconductor laser diode. Also, by controlling a wet oxidation time, the width of a ridge can be freely controlled and an ohmic contact layer can be automatically formed.

    摘要: The invention relates to a thickness-measuring method for an organic coating film such as an organic solderability preservative film formed on a metal film. In the method, an absorption spectrum of at least one reference organic coating film formed on a first metal surface is measured and absorption intensity in a predetermined wavelength range is calculated from the absorption spectrum. The thickness of the reference organic coating film is measured by destructive measurement. Then, correlation is defined based upon the absorption intensity and measured thickness of the reference organic coating film. An absorption spectrum of an organic coating film to be measured. Absorption intensity in the predetermined wavelength range is calculated from the absorption spectrum of the organic coating film to be measured, and the thickness of the organic coating film is calculated from the absorption intensity thereof based upon the correlation.
