A plasma display panel adapted to minimize noise/vibration as well as a heat generated therefrom. In the plasma display panel, a display panel displays a picture while a porous pad is provided behind the display panel to prevent the transfer of noise/vibration to an associated heat proof panel. When the PDP is mounted within a case, a second porous pad can be provided on an inner surface of the case opposite the display panel and adjacent to an associated printed circuit board for additional noise/vibration damping.

Disclosed herein is an electrochromic device having the functionality of a secondary battery. The electrochromic device includes a plurality of secondary battery/display segments in which a double metal oxide layer comprising mesoporous metal oxide particles and macroporous metal oxide particles is disposed on a transparent electrode, and a cathode active material for a lithium secondary battery is disposed on a counter electrode to enable oxidation and reduction of lithium. Methods of manufacturing the electrochromic device are disclosed as well.

There is disclosed a method and apparatus of driving a plasma display panel that is adaptive for improving its contrast and enabling its high speed driving. A driving method of a plasma display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention applies a setup voltage with a first gradient to the scan electrode for the reset period; and applies the setup voltage with a second gradient to the sustain electrode while a voltage on the scan electrode rises.

Disclosed herein is a transparent electrode featuring the interposition of a nano-metal layer between a grid electrode on a transparent substrate and an electroconductive polymer layer, and a preparation method thereof. The transparent electrode can be produced in a continuous process at high productivity and low cost and can be applied to various display devices.

The present invention relates to a high speed direct mold clamping apparatus. The direct mold clamping apparatus has a grooved channel for the flow of oil inside a clamping cylinder to minimize the flow of oil between inside and outside the clamping cylinder. Then, the clamping ram can perform high speed reciprocation in the clamping cylinder.

Disclosed herein are a method for forming a pattern of a one-dimensional nanostructure, and a pattern of a one-dimensional nanostructure formed by the method. The method comprises the steps of (i) coating a photocatalytic compound onto a substrate to form a photocatalytic film, and selectively exposing the photocatalytic film to light to form latent image centers for crystal growth, (ii) growing metal crystals by plating the latent pattern to form a metal pattern, and (iii) selectively growing a one-dimensional nanostructure on the metal pattern acting as a catalyst.

A parallel acquisition system configured using a reference matched filter, thereby obtaining a superior acquisition performance and a high throughput as compared to conventional serial acquisition systems and conventional parallel acquisition systems including no reference matched filter. The parallel acquisition system includes a reference matched filter connected in parallel to a plurality of detection matched filters connected together in parallel. The reference matched filter serves to estimate a dispersion of interference components of reception signals respectively input at the detection matched filters. The parallel acquisition system can be applied to the receiver of a spread spectrum system for a packet radio data communication in a multiple access environment.

A method and an apparatus for switching from the main frequency to an Alternative Frequency (AF) providing the same station is provided. The method includes measuring a received signal strength of a main frequency, receiving at least one alternative frequency list, establishing an accumulated alternative frequency list including all previously received alternative frequency lists, comparing the received signal strength of the main frequency with a predefined reference received signal strength, and attempting, when the received signal strength of the main frequency is less than the reference received signal strength, switching to an alternative frequency in the accumulated alternative frequency list.

An organometallic composition containing an organometallic compound (I) containing Ag, an organometallic compound (II) containing Au, Pd, or Ru, and an organometallic compound (III) containing Ti, Ta, Cr, Mo, Ru, Ni, Pd, Cu, Au, or Al, wherein the metal components of organometallic compounds (II) and (III), respectively, are present in an amount of 0.01˜10 mol % based on the amount of Ag in the organometallic compound (I), and a method of forming a metal alloy pattern using the same. Silver alloy patterns can be obtained through a simplified manufacturing process, which patterns have enhanced heat resistance, adhesiveness, and chemical stability. The method may be applied to making a reflective film for LCD and metal wiring (gate, source, drain electrode) for flexible displays or flat panel displays, and further to CMP-free damascene processing and PR-free ITO film deposition.

A wafer level fan-out package with a fiducial die is disclosed and may include a semiconductor die and a transparent fiducial die both encapsulated in a molding compound resin, passivation layers on an upper surface and a lower surface of the molding compound resin except where redistribution layers are formed on upper and lower surfaces of the molding compound resin, and a metal pattern on a lower surface of the transparent fiducial die that is visible through an exposed upper surface of the transparent fiducial die. The pattern may comprise a standard coordinate for forming a through mold via utilizing laser drilling.
