    摘要: An electronic camera responsive to a digital image stored in such camera, and having a multimode microfluidic printer for printing images of different resolutions onto receivers corresponding to the stored digital image. The camera focuses an image of a subject at an image plane and includes an area image sensor disposed at the image plane for receiving the image subject and producing a digital image representing the subject. The camera further includes electronic storage coupled to the area image sensor for storing the digitized image of the subject, and the microfluidic printer includes a plurality of colorant reservoirs including several reservoirs for containing different colorants and a plurality of colorant delivery chambers and a selectable mode control switch responsive to a selected mode of operation including different pixel spacing and colored images and the stored digital image for causing colorants to be delivered from colorant reservoirs to selected colorant delivery chambers in the correct amount. The transfer of the colorants in the chambers are then delivered to the receiver.

    摘要: A film projector for use with frames of processed photographic film having frame-associated image orientation data. The film projector has a light source that emits a collimated beam and a film holder that is disposed to hold individual frames of film in the beam. The film holder is pivotable between a first and second orthogonal orientations. An optical projection system receives the beam from the film holder. The optical system propagates and focuses at least a portion of the beam on a viewing plane external to the projector. A sensor is disposed to read the frame-associated image orientation data. The sensor produces a signal responsive to the image configuration information. A controller receives the signal from the sensor. A repositioner is connected to the film holder. The repositioner is operatively connected to the controller to move the film holder between the orientations responsive to the controller.

The apparatus includes a camera for electronically storing an image of a subject and having a display for displaying such stored image and an alignment structure. The printer further includes optics for focusing a the display area onto said photosensitive sheet and circuitry for providing electronic communication between the electronic camera and the printer so that the display area is imaged on the photosensitive sheet.
