摘要: Aspects are disclosed for multiplexing disparate wireless terminals. Resource blocks are mapped according to a hopping pattern. A first and second pair of physical resource blocks are allocated such that the first pair is associated with a first hopping index pair, whereas the second pair is associated with a second hopping index pair. For this embodiment, the first and second hopping index pairs are inversely symmetrical to each other. A pair of distributed resource blocks is also allocated. An assignment is then scheduled that includes a physical resource allocation and a virtual resource allocation. Aspects for operating a wireless terminal are also disclosed. Here, a communication that includes a resource allocation and a reference signal is received. A minimum resource allocation granularity is ascertained from the communication, and a joint channel estimation is based on the reference signal and is a function of the minimum resource allocation granularity.

摘要: Techniques are provided for communicating control information for aggregated carriers. For example, a method includes receiving one or more assignments for a plurality of aggregated carriers. For example, the at least one of the plurality of aggregated carriers is a time division duplexing (TDD) carrier having a different subframe configuration than at least another one of the plurality of aggregated carriers. The method may include communicating control information for the plurality of aggregated carriers over one of the plurality of aggregated carriers.

摘要: A method for enhancing a sounding reference signal (SRS) in a non-root wireless communication device is disclosed. The method determines that all SRS transmissions for the wireless communication device are to occur in an uplink pilot time slot (UpPTS) portion of a transition subframe. The method also determines whether available uplink bandwidth for the UpPTS portion is greater than available uplink bandwidth for a normal uplink subframe. A current SRS is transmitted using the available uplink bandwidth for UpPTS portion when the available uplink bandwidth for the UpPTS portion is greater than available uplink bandwidth for the normal uplink subframe.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and computer program product for wireless communication are provided to receive a downlink grant including a transmission power control (TPC) command and a downlink assignment index (DAI) for an uplink subframe, determine that a value for at least one of the TPC commands is an ACK/NACK resource indicator for an uplink control channel resource based on a value of the DAI, and transmit one or more ACK/NACK bits using the uplink control channel resource. In another example, an eNB may be equipped to transmit a downlink grant including TPC command and DAI for an uplink subframe, wherein the DAI is greater than 1 and the TPC command is replaced with an ACK/NACK resource indicator, and receive a signal including uplink control channel information, where ACK/NACK feedback for one or more downlink subframes associated with the uplink subframe are included in a resource indicated by the resource indicator.

摘要: Techniques for controlling the operation of user equipments (UEs) to mitigate emissions out of band are described. A base station may identify a UE potentially causing excessive emissions out of band due to transmission of control information and may schedule the UE to reduce the emissions out of band. In one design, the base station may schedule the UE to send control information on a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) instead of a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH). In another design, the base station may assign the UE with resources for the PUCCH to send control information. The assigned resources may be selected to mitigate the emissions out of band and may be (i) located within a target frequency range, (ii) located away from a frequency band to be mitigated with the emissions out of band, or (iii) obtained with a reuse scheme and have less inter-cell interference from other UEs.

摘要: Wireless networks may include remote radio heads (RRHs) for extending the coverage of a macro cell. The macro cell may be connected to the RRHs, for example, by optical fiber, and there may be negligible latency between the macro cell and the RRHs. As a user equipment (UE) moves within the macro cell, or between other macro cells, mobility procedures followed by the UE may vary based on the release of the UE (e.g., Rel-8/9, Rel-10, or Rel-11 and beyond). The macro cell may handle all the scheduling within the cell, for itself and the RRHs.
