摘要: A method of operating a UE includes receiving a configuration of multiple bandwidth parts. Each bandwidth part of the multiple bandwidth parts is associated with a respective access node of multiple access nodes. The method also includes receiving positioning signals on each bandwidth part of the multiple bandwidth part from the respectively associate access node of the multiple access nodes. Said receiving is in accordance with the configuration. The method also includes participating in positioning of the UW based on said receiving of the positioning signals.

摘要: Examples described herein provide ranging by a network device during a beacon interval. Examples described herein may discover, by a network device during a first beacon interval, a plurality of APs in a network that are capable of ranging and a received signal measurement of each of the plurality of APs. Examples described herein may select, by the network device, an AP with a strongest received signal measurement among the plurality of APs, determine, by the network device, whether the selected AP is available for ranging, and based on a determination that the selected AP is available for ranging, initiate, by the network device during a second beacon interval, ranging measurements with the selected AP to generate a ranging result. Examples described herein may, based on the ranging result, resolve locations of the plurality of APs.

摘要: Autonomous vehicles, and user-driven vehicles with an emergency intervention capability, can communicate to avoid collisions using 5G/6G technology, but this level of cooperation is possible only if the threatened vehicles have already determined the relative location and wireless address of the other vehicle. Disclosed is a method for wireless vehicles in traffic to exchange distance and angular information of the other vehicles in view, from which a position map can be prepared indicating the relative locations of each participating and non-participating vehicle. In addition, the traffic map can be annotated with the wireless addresses of the participating vehicles, thereby enabling them to communicate instantly in an emergency. The traffic map may be prepared or updated by one of the vehicles in traffic, or by a roadside access point. Satellite data is not necessary for the relative localization, but may be included if available.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a location server, a positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration for a downlink-and-uplink-based positioning session between the UE and the location server, waits, based on a determination that a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration for the downlink-and-uplink-based positioning session has not been received from a serving base station of the UE, for reception of the SRS configuration from the serving base station until expiration of a timer, and determines, based on the expiration of the timer, whether the SRS configuration was received.

摘要: A surveying system for a construction site has a restricted antenna system with a plurality of fixed location antennas each defined by a set of location data associated with a specific deployment position. The surveying system also has a computing device with a data processor and a display screen. A communications module establishes a data transfer link with the restricted antenna system over which spatial data for distances between current positions of the computing device and one or more of the plurality of fixed location antennas are received. The computing device is loadable with project drawings corresponding to the construction site and displayable on the display screen. A position marker is overlaid on the display of the project drawing at a position thereon corresponding to a computing device location value derived from the spatial data and the location data of one or more of the fixed location antennas.
