A Ni-based single crystal super alloy capable of improving strength by preventing precipitation of a TCP phase at high temperatures may be obtained by a Ni-based single crystal super alloy having a composition consisting of 5.0-7.0 wt % Al, 4.0-8.0 wt % Ta, 2.9-4.5 wt % Mo, 4.0-8.0 wt % W, 3.0-6.0 wt % Re, 0.01-0.50 wt % Hf, 2.0-5.0 wt % Cr, 0.1-15.0 wt % Co and 1.0-4.0 wt % Ru in terms of its weight ratio, with the remainder consisting of Ni and unavoidable impurities. Preferably, the composition of Co in the Ni-based single crystal super alloy is limited to 0.1-9.5 wt %.

There is disclosed a scanning electron charged-particle beam instrument in which the image does not escape during rotation even if the center of mechanical rotation is not coincident with the center of the image. The instrument is so operated that the center position of the image is fixed when a mechanical rotation is made if the center of mechanical rotation is not coincident with the center of the image. For this purpose, when the specimen stage assembly is rotated mechanically, the X-stage of the specimen stage assembly is driven to move in the X-direction. The Y-stage of the stage assembly is driven to move in the Y-direction. The distance L between the center of mechanical rotation and the moving speed of the X-Y stage are interlinked. The apparent speed of the rotational speed of the image on the viewing screen is made constant irrespective of the distance L. In practice, the moving speed of the X-Y stage is increased with increasing the distance L.

A memory card is disclosed which has a card body (2) having a concavity (9) formed at the forward end thereof in the inserting direction and in which terminals (5) are disposed and projections (10) are formed between the terminals (5) to prevent the terminals (5) from being touched or accessed from outside. A receptacle for the memory card is also disclosed. The memory card has a simple structure designed to positively protect the terminals and easily let out dust or the like from inside, thereby permitting to assure a positive connection with the receptacle.

A mother tape is adapted to perform magnetic or thermal high-speed contact printing for duplicating video data or information to be reproduced in a VTR monitor with eliminating spike noise otherwise contained in the reproduced control signal. The mother tape stores video information including control signals. The control signals have a waveform which has a first level immediately following the leading edge and lower than a second level corresponding to the normal high level, and a third level immediately following the trailing edge and higher than a fourth constant level corresponding to the normal low level. The first- and third-level waveform "buffers" thus created tend to suppress the spike noise conventionally occurring at the leading and trailing edges of the reproduced control signal and ensure more reliable tracking, tape speed control and so forth.
