Abstract:
A game progress control program, game progress control method, and video game device, which reflect the player strategy in the video game and have excellent game properties, are provided. A procedure storage unit 51 stores a plurality of operation procedures of a controller 19; an operation reception unit 401 receives operations from the controller 19 performed within a prescribed time interval; an operation decision unit 402 selects one operation procedure from among operation procedures stored in the procedure storage unit 51 as an operation procedure equivalent to operations from the controller 19; a time calculation unit 404 calculates the holding time over which the final operation performed in the operation procedure selected by the operation decision unit 402 is held; and a point-awarding unit 406 awards points based on the decision result of the operation decision unit 402 and the holding time.
Abstract:
An agitating unit is provided in an upright fermenting reactor for purposes of carrying garbage from a lower portion toward an upper portion of the fermenting reactor. The horizontal distance between the agitator unit, or a spiral blade thereof, and an inner wall surface of the fermenting reactor is made larger in proportion to the axial position of the agitator unit toward the upper portion of the fermenting reactor. On the other hand, an opening between the spiral blade and its drive shaft may made larger in proportion to the axial position of the agitator unit toward the upper portion of the fermenting reactor. With such an arrangement, a flow from a lower portion toward the upper portion and a flow from the upper portion toward the lower portion are simultaneously formed. Due to the ascending flow and the descending flow, the garbage and the compost in the fermenting reactor can be easily mixed with each other and the decomposition of the garbage can speeded up, so that it is possible to carry out a continuous fermentation operation.
Abstract:
A solid golf ball basically comprises a solid core composed of a three-layered structure, and a cover for coating the solid core therewith. The solid core comprises an inner layer, an intermediate layer having a Shore D hardness of 45 to 65, and an outer layer having a hardness lower than that of the intermediate layer. The inner layer has a hardness which is set to be lower than the hardness of the intermediate layer.
Abstract:
An information management apparatus dealing with waste in a waste recycling system comprises an information management device for managing information on waste of each depository, and a device of determining the waste collection method based on the information and the process volume of a recycling processor. The apparatus determines the waste collection method so that recycling products can be delivered stably.
Abstract:
In order to operate a plurality of utilities, the utilities are interconnected via a communication path. Each utility has a control device for controlling the utility and a memory for storing information factors which are used by the corresponding control device. The information factors corresponding to all the utilities are investigated by an extraction device to determine which are common to the utilities and which are related. Where the common information factors are identified, they are passed by the communication path to the memories of all the utilities. Similarly, when related information factors are found, a calculating device calculates common information which is also passed via the communication path to the memories of all the utilities. In this way, the utilities may operate more efficiently than when they are operated on a stand-alone basis. The investigation of the information factors, and the calculating of common information from related information factors may be distributed among the utilities or carried out by a common control device. The utilities may be electric power supply systems, district heating and cooling systems, sewage disposal systems, waste recovery systems, etc.
Abstract:
In an ion laser generator, an electromagnet must produce a sufficiently strong magnetic field throughout the length of the bore where plasma must be converged, and the magnetic field intensity at the end surface of the cathode must not exceed a certain limit. If the magnetic field intensity at the cathode is too strong, the plasma is converged on an area of the cathode and destroys the cathode at the area. A magnetic shield member is provided at an end surface of the electromagnet facing to the cathode for shielding the cathode surface from the leakage flux.
Abstract:
Suspended substances, such as active sludge, in a liquor is treated in an apparatus for treating the liquor by predicting a suspension state on the basis of an amount of existing suspended substances in the liquor.
Abstract:
A document feeding device including a compact document feeder unit designed primarily for dealing with document sheets of small or standard size and a platen cover unit is disposed on a platen of a copying machine or the like. A small-size document sheet is fed in the forward direction when being supplied onto and discharged from the platen. In a case of handling a large-size document sheet, the sheet is moved backward after being completely introduced into between the feeder unit and platen so as to enter into between the platen cover unit and the platen, and then discharged by being moved forward after copying. Thus, the large-size document sheet can be dealt with similarly to the small-size document sheet by the document feeder unit made compact.
Abstract:
A recirculation-type document feeding device for a copying machine having a function of allowing a copied document to be alternatively discharged to a discharge tray or returned to a document tray. In a case of copying several times, the documents stacked on the document tray are transferred one by one to a document setting portion on a platen to be copied, and then, sent back to the document tray through a return passage. After copying completely, the copied documents may be eliminated to the discharge tray.
