摘要: A trunk line bandwidth reservation system is applied to an asynchronous transfer mode switching system which is coupled to a plurality of terminals. The trunk line bandwidth reservation system includes a data storage for storing reservation data, a bandwidth reservation part for registering a reservation datum which includes at least a time zone and a reserved bandwidth to be used by a reserved communication into the data storage in response to a reservation request which includes the reservation datum and is generated from a first terminal before the time zone, where the time zone starts from a reserved start time, and a bandwidth assignment part for assigning the reserved bandwidth to the first terminal in response to a connect request which is generated from the first terminal at the reserved start time, and for assigning an available bandwidth to a second terminal in response to a connect request which is generated from the second terminal by judging the available bandwidth based on a bandwidth which is presently in use and the reserved bandwidth which is secured by the reservation datum. The second terminal is other than the first terminal and generates the connect request which is no associated with a reservation request.

摘要: A printer driver of a host computer sends as image data a command which includes full-color RGB raster data. A printer-control-only circuit formed in the form of a hardware circuit subjects the full-color RGB raster data received from the driver to color conversion, halftoning, and interlacing, thereby converting the RGB raster data into binary CMYK raster data. The printer-control-only circuit generates a printer command including as image data the binary CMYK raster data. The printer performs printing operations on the basis of the binary CMYK raster data included in the printer command from the printer-control-only circuit. Software stored in the printer driver and the printer do not perform any color conversion, halftoning, and interlacing operations.

摘要: A sealing member is provided at an inner periphery sealing portion thereof with an inner tube portion arranged to be moved toward a fuel feed port inner side with the insertion of a fuel feed nozzle and to be moved toward a fuel feed port opening side with the removal of the fuel feed nozzle. The inner tube portion is provided, at the outer periphery of the end thereof at the fuel feed port opening side, with a tapered tube portion extending toward an outer tube portion side. With the movement of the inner tube portion toward the fuel feed port opening side, the inner tube portion is increased in inner diameter such that the increased inner diameter is greater than the outer diameter of the fuel feed nozzle, and with the movement of the inner tube portion toward the fuel feed port inner side, the inner tube portion is reduced in inner diameter, causing the same to stick fast to the outer periphery of the fuel feed nozzle.

摘要: A display apparatus is constituted by a display device including a plurality of scanning lines, a plurality of data lines intersecting the scanning lines, and a pixel formed at each intersection of the scanning lines and data lines and showing plural display states depending on signals applied to an associated scanning line and an associated data line. The display device is driven by applying a selection signal to the scanning lines and applying to the data lines data signals for causing prescribed display states at the pixels in association with the selection signal. Further, at least one scanning line in a nonselected state is supplied with a dummy signal for temporarily changing display states of pixels on the at least one scanning line, whereby flickering on the display device is suppressed. The display apparatus is also applicable to gradational display.

摘要: Disclosed is an ATM exchange for granting permission to a camp-on request in a short time. A temporarily saved band value management table for managing temporarily saved band value is provided, as is a band management table for managing empty band value in the storage device of an ATM exchange comprising a storage device, a control device, and the like. The control device selects a corresponding empty band value for a temporarily saved band value when a first camp-on request is received from a terminal, and sets the empty band value to "0." In addition, the control device adds to the temporarily saved band value a band value released by a break in communication when a camp-on request is registered, and grants permission for communication to the terminal that has issued this camp-on request when the temporarily saved band value is higher than the band value required by a registered camp-on request. The control device determines whether or not a connection request can be accepted on the basis of the empty band value stored in the band management table.
