Abstract:
A method of controlling an access, which is controlled by a Mobility Management Entity (MME) of a control plane in a visited network; and the MME therefore are discussed. The method according to one embodiment includes receiving an access request message or an update request message requested by a roaming user equipment (UE) from a Home (e)Node B; and determining Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) information among first CSG information and second CSG information based on predefined priority information when the first CSG information conflicts with the second CSG information. The predefined priority information indicates that the first CSG information takes precedence over the second CSG information. The method further includes transmitting an accept message based on the determined CSG information via the Home (e)Node B. The first CSG information is CSG-related information defined in a home network and the second CSG information is CSG-related information in the visited network.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification provides a method by which a user equipment (UE) reselects a network node in charge of a control plane. The method can comprise the steps of: retransmitting, by the UE, a non-access stratum (NAS) request message if the UE transmitted the NAS request message to a network node in charge of the control plane through a base station but has not received a response message; transmitting, by the UE, an access stratum (AS) message, which includes an indication showing no response from the network node, to the base station if the retransmission of the NAS request message has repeated by a preset value or more; and reselecting another network node in charge of the control plane instead of the network node in a disabled state if information indicating that the network node is in the disabled state is received from the base station.
Abstract:
A method for supporting a voice service of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system; and a Mobility Management Entity (MME) apparatus therefore. The method according to one embodiment includes transmitting an update location request (ULR) message to a home subscriber server (HSS); and transmitting a Notify Request message including a single radio voice call continuity (SRVCC) capability, when the MME determines that the SRVCC capability is changed. If the MME knows a homogeneity of support of an IMS voice over PS session in all TAs (Tracking areas) or all RAs (Routing Areas) related to the MME, the ULR message includes an information element. If the MME fails to know the homogeneity of support of the IMS voice over PS session due to a lack of information including Voice over IMS related capability information of the UE, the ULR message does not include the information element.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for determining whether to activate an idle mode signaling reduction (ISR) capability in a network entity for managing mobility of user equipment. The method for determining whether to activate the ISR capability comprises the steps of: obtaining information related to a proximity service of the user equipment; receiving from the user equipment a location refresh request message; determining whether to activate the ISR based on ISR capability information of a network node that had been just previously in charge of the user equipment, ISR capability information of the network entity, and information related to the proximity service of the user equipment; and transmitting a location refresh acceptance message to the user equipment after the determination.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention discloses a method for allowing a serving node to support a trigger request of a machine type communication-interworking function (MTC-IWF) in a wireless communication system, and the method for supporting the trigger request comprises the steps of: receiving, from a terminal, capability information which contains information on trigger transmission; and determining whether to transmit the information on the trigger transmission to a home subscriber server (HSS)/home location register (HLR), based on the information related to the terminal, which contains the capability information, and information related to the serving node, wherein the information on the trigger transmission contains information indicating whether the terminal supports a trigger request through the MTC-IWF and the serving node.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for selecting an access network in a wireless communications system and an apparatus therefor. In a wireless communications system, a method for a terminal to select an access network according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving the policy information of a first network; receiving the policy information of a second network; determining the load value of a WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) access network; and comparing the load value with a predetermined reference value so as to determine whether the WLAN access network is overloaded. The predetermined value can be determined by comparing first reference information for determination of the WLAN access network overload contained in the policy information of the first network with second reference information for determination of the WLAN access network overload contained in the policy information of the second network.
Abstract:
The present application provides a method for enabling a UE (User Equipment) detecting a proximity service to adjust the detection range. The method for adjusting the detection range includes the steps of: enabling the detecting UE having joined in the same group of the proximity service to compare the number of the UEs requiring a relay with a predetermined threshold value; enabling the detecting UE to decide whether to expand its detection range if the number of the UEs requiring a relay exceeds the predetermined threshold value; enabling the detecting UE to decide whether to reduce its detection range if the number of the UEs requiring a relay is less than the predetermined threshold value; and enabling the detecting UE to adjust the range class so as to expand or reduce the detection range.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for exchanging/collecting a device trigger by a short message service-service center (SMS-SC) in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving a first message including an old trigger reference number from a machine type communications-interworking function (MTC-IWF); and deleting a trigger message corresponding to the old trigger reference number, wherein when the first message further includes a new trigger reference number, the SMS-SC detects the trigger message and stores a new trigger message corresponding to the new trigger reference number.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More particularly, disclosed are a network-initiated control method and an apparatus for providing a proximity service (ProSe). A method for supporting ProSe between a plurality of terminals at a network node of a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of acquiring base ProSe information from one or more of the plurality of terminals or from one or more of other network nodes; a step of allowing the network node to detect whether ProSe is enabled between the plurality of terminals based on the acquired base ProSe information; and a step of transmitting information indicating whether ProSe is allowed or not to one or more of the plurality of terminals.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present invention provides a method for supporting a power saving mode (PSM) in a radio device. According to the method, the radio device may transmit a first message including a first activation time value to a network entity when the radio device requires the PSM. Then, the radio device may receive a second message including a second activation time value from the network entity. The radio device may enter a PSM state on the basis of the second activation time value. When it is necessary to stop the PSM or change the second activation time, the radio device may transmit a third message at the very time point.
