    摘要: The present invention provides for sending an envelope and replying to an envelope. A transmitter is configured to send an envelope. A receiver is coupled to the transmitter, wherein the receiver is configured to receive the envelope and generate a reply envelope. A send buffer is coupled to the transmitter. A receive buffer is coupled to the receiver. A retry timer is coupled to the transmitter, wherein the retry timer is configured to reset upon the receipt of a reply envelope correlated to the transmit envelope. The transmitter is configured to retransmit an envelope if the transmitter does not receive a corresponding reply envelope within a selected time period as determined by the retry timer. This leads to a decrease in the total number of envelopes, transmitted from both the transmitter and the receiver.

    摘要: An apparatus, system, and process for demarking a control object using direct non-visible light is disclosed. A non-visible light reactive compound is applied to the control object. In one embodiment, the non-visible light reactive compound forms a designator. A non-visible light source directly radiates the non-visible light reactive compound. The non-visible light reactive compound reacts to the non-visible light by radiating visible light, illuminating the non-visible light reactive compound. The illuminated non-visible light reactive compound demarks the control object. In one embodiment, the non-visible light source is an ultraviolet light source and the non-visible light reactive compound is an ultraviolet reactive compound.

Sound waves falling on the acoustic sensor cause at least one property of electromagnetic radiation transmitted through the fibre optic to vary. This variation is indicative of the sound generated by the musical instrument and can be detected by an electromagnetic radiation detector.
