    摘要: Systems and methods for corporate workplace capacity planning and optimization are provided. A system according to the invention may include a computer. The computer may be configured to receive a plurality of characteristics relating to an entity or a portion of an entity. The computer may be further configured to receive a predetermined selection of buildings. The computer may also be configured to determine a plurality of solution sets. Each of the solution sets may express a subset of space located within the selected buildings for the location of the entity or the portion of the entity. The solution sets may be fixed for a predetermined amount of time into the future. The solutions sets can be based, at least in part, on the plurality of characteristics. The computer may also be configured to select a subset of the plurality of solution sets. Finally, a display device may be configured to display at least a portion of a single solution set.

    摘要: Low cost apparatus and methods of detecting arc faults for better discriminating electrical events. The arc fault detection apparatus includes a current sensor, a di/dt input sense circuit, a dv/dt input sense circuit, and a processing unit. The current sensor monitors a power line current, and provides high frequency components of the power line current to the di/dt input sense circuit. The dv/dt input sense circuit monitors a power line voltage. The di/dt and dv/dt input sense circuits generate signals carrying information relating to changes in the power line current and the power line voltage, respectively. The processing unit analyzes these changes in the power line current and the power line voltage to discriminate detected electrical arcing events from nuisance loads with increased accuracy.

    摘要: An electrical signal processing device includes at least one thin film flux generator and at least one thin film magnetic sensor. Each flux generator includes at least one conductive induction line that is connected to at least one lead of a pair of input leads, and a yoke that surrounds the conductive induction line. The yoke has at least one pair of pole tips, and a gap is disposed between the end surfaces of each pair of pole tips. A magnetic sensor is disposed in the gap, and a pair of output leads is connected to the sensor. An alternative embodiment may include two or more conductive induction lines that are connected to respective separate pairs of input leads. Alternatively, two or more conductive induction lines may connect to one another to form an induction coil. The flux generator and magnetic sensor are preferably formed on a single substrate to create an integrated device.
