    摘要： An image generating system is structured to transfer the N-dot multivalued image data from an image generating device to write them on the N numbers of FIFO memories in synchronism with a specific transfer clocking, and to read them out to the engine by the clock having 1/N transfer frequency. This clock synchronizes with the horizontally synchronous signals. Then, the image data are selected by means of a selector one after another for output. The multivalued image data thus output are converted into the binary image data to be transferred to the engine in synchronism with the transfer frequency. In this way, the system can be formed simpler with ease as desired.

    摘要： An energy absorbing structure for a side portion of a vehicle body includes a plastically deformable energy absorbing member which is disposed at a predetermined position in the side portion of the vehicle body against which a side portion of an upper part of a vehicle occupant's body hits during a side collision, the energy absorbing member being arranged such that a longitudinal direction thereof coincides with a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, a cross section of the energy absorbing member being formed in the shape of a substantially hollow ellipse in which a direction of a short axis thereof is a transverse direction of the vehicle body and a direction of a long axis thereof is a vertical direction of the vehicle body, the wall thickness of the energy absorbing member being set such that the wall thicknesses of long-axis portions thereof corresponding to the long axis are greater than the wall thicknesses of short-axis portions thereof corresponding to the short axis.

    摘要： A system for reducing electromagnetic noise generated by common mode currents in electrical connections of a power inverter and battery in an electric or hybrid electric vehicle. A pair of spaced apart electrical conductors extends along the vehicle chassis and electrically connects the power inverter to the battery. An electrically conductive metal plate is positioned in between the spaced apart electrical conductors. This metal plate is electrically connected to the chassis adjacent at least both of the power inverter and the battery/motor. Besides this, more connecting points are required to keep the distance between two points less than half wavelength of the maximum frequency of EMI requirements, and most preferably this metal plate is electrically connected to the chassis all the way with infinite connecting points. The metal plate is positioned so that the metal plate is closer to the electrical conductors than the space in between the electrical conductors and the vehicle chassis.

A light receiving unit receives a light reflected from the document when the illumination light is emitted from the light-emitting device, and converts the received reflected light into image data at a predetermined sensitivity depending on the wavelengths of the received light. A current drive circuit supplies the drive current to turn on the light-emitting device. A wavelength distribution control unit produces two or more durations each having a different value of the drive current by controlling the current drive circuit during each main scanning to the document to produce two or more durations each having a different peak wavelength in each main scanning.
