    Abstract: This disclosure provides techniques for managing antenna sharing on a multi-mode wireless device between coexisting cellular and WLAN modems operating on the same band. One of the modems can communicate a WLAN scanning parameter to another one of the modems, and the distribution of shared antennas between the cellular modem and the WLAN modem may be modified based at least in part on the communicated scanning parameter to accommodate a WLAN scan on channels in the shared band. The distribution of the shared antennas between the modems for the WLAN scan may additionally or alternatively be selected based at least in part on the source of a detected WLAN scanning trigger (e.g., whether the scan is triggered by an application of the wireless device or the WLAN modem of the wireless device).

    Abstract: User equipment (UE)-specific information may be transmitted within a control resource set configured to carry resources common to UEs within a system. The UE-specific information may be associated with a search space having an aggregation level different from aggregation levels used with the common control resources and may occupy different modulation symbols within the common control resource set (e.g., to support flexible scheduling for multiple UEs). A base station and UE may operate in a system using one or more control resource sets within a system bandwidth. The UE may detect common control resources by monitoring decoding candidates in the control resource set according to a first set of aggregation levels. The UE may detect UE-specific control resources by monitoring decoding candidates in the control resource set according to other aggregation levels. The UE and base station may communicate based on control information obtained from the monitoring.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for decoupling of a synchronization (“sync”) channel raster and a channel raster in a wireless communication system is disclosed. For example, the method and apparatus include determining, at a network entity, a synchronization channel raster corresponding to a set of frequencies, and transmitting, from the network entity, one or more synchronization signals and a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) in any frequency of the set of frequencies of the synchronization channel raster to at least one UE. For example, the method and apparatus further include determining, at a network entity, a synchronization channel raster corresponding to a set of frequencies, and transmitting, from the network entity, one or more synchronization signals and a PBCH in a frequency of the set of frequencies of the synchronization channel raster closest to a center frequency of a bandwidth to at least one UE.
