Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). A method for channel-related information feedback in a beamforming system, performed by a transmitter is provided. The method includes determining whether a receiver is to feed back gain information about an effective channel established between the transmitter and the receiver using channel-related information between the transmitter and the receiver, notifying the receiver of a feedback mode indicating whether the gain information is to be fed back, upon receipt of feedback information configured based on the feedback mode from the receiver, reconfiguring the effective channel based on the feedback information, and transmitting a signal on the reconfigured effective channel.
Abstract:
A millimeter radio wave communication system. In a method for operating a base station (BS) in an analog/digital mixed BF system, an analog BF direction is determined. A digital BF precoder is determined for the determined analog BF direction. Digital BF precoding is performed using the digital BF precoder with respect to the determined analog BF direction. A DownLink Reference Signal (DL RS) is transmitted in the analog BF direction on which the digital BF precoding has been performed.

The method includes generating power control information based on a quality of a signal which is measured for each reception beam of a base station, so as to transmit the power control information to terminals. The method also includes receiving a signal transmitted by using the power control information from at least one terminal.
Abstract:
An apparatus performs a method for generating information indicating channel quality when a dynamic range of a receive signal strength and an interference signal strength is considerable in a wireless communication system using beamforming. A base station (BS) for processing feedback information for scheduling receives from a mobile station (MS) first feedback information comprising a receive signal strength measurement result in paths selected from a plurality of downlink paths between the BSs and the MS, designates a transmit (TX) resource for interference measurement of the MS based on the first feedback information, receives from the MS second feedback information comprising an interference measurement result in the designated TX resource region, and calculates a Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) of the MS based on the first feedback information and the second feedback information. The designated TX resource includes a resource other than a signal TX resource for the MS.

The method includes: receiving a plurality of transmit (Tx) beam signals from a base station; generating indication information for indicating a difference in arrival time between effective Tx beam signals selected from the received Tx beam signals; and transmitting feedback information including the indication information to the base station.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for transmitting data in a wireless communication system, comprising the steps of: allocating, by a base station, a resource for transmitting data modulated by a hybrid frequency shift keying (FSK) and quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) (FQAM) scheme in which a QAM scheme and a FSK scheme are combined; transmitting, by the base station, a sequence modulated by the FQAM scheme, to a mobile station, via an interference measurement channel; transmitting, by the base station, a reference signal for measuring channel quality information (CQI) to the mobile station; receiving, by the base station, CQI estimated based on an interference characteristic of the interference measurement channel, from the mobile station, and performing scheduling of the mobile station based on the received CQI and transmitting, by the base station, the data modulated by the FQAM scheme to the mobile station.

The present disclosure provides a method for allocating a code for inter-Base Station (BS) coordinated communications in a radio communication system. The method includes grouping terminals, at least more than a predetermined number of whose transmit and receive beams indicated by the terminals' respective favorite beam configuration information correspond to each other, in a same group; and allocating unique codes to terminals in the same group and sending information regarding the allocated code to each of the terminals.

The apparatus includes a hybrid beam-forming structure having a small number of digital chains provided in a digital stage and a signal is transmitted and received in a Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) scheme. The apparatus includes an analog beam-forming operating unit configured to change the analog beam for a counterpart device for which use of a next frame is to be permitted, upon receiving a request for using the next frame from at least one of multiple devices that transmit and receive signals in units of frames and a communication unit configured to transmit information indicating that the analog beam is changed to permit the use of the next frame by the counterpart device to the multiple devices.
Abstract:
A modulation method and an apparatus with consideration of adaptive Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) in a wireless communication system are provided. The method of a transmission end supporting a hybrid modulation technique in which different types of modulation schemes are mixed, information of a channel state with a reception end is collected. A modulation order of a first type of a modulation scheme and a modulation order of a second type of a modulation scheme are determined. The modulation order of a first type of a modulation scheme and a modulation order of a second type of a modulation scheme form the hybrid modulation technique.
