摘要: The purpose of this invention is to offer an edge connector which requires less space for insertion of a card and has a reduced stress in the housing due to dissipation of mechanical stress. Accordingly, the invention comprises a C-shaped connector 1 having a housing that has a reception groove 8 and guiding grooves 10, 10' for a memory card 100. In the upper walls forming the guiding grooves 10, 10' protrusions 12, 14 are formed. These protrusions match indentations 108, 110 in the memory card. The memory card 100 can be inserted into the guiding grooves 10, 10; only when the protrusions 12, 14 and indentations 108, 110 are properly aligned. After that the memory card is moved along the grooves 10, 10' toward the contacts 70, 70' arranged in the main body 4 of the housing. Contacting arms 78, 78' of adjacent contacts 70, 70' make connection alternately with the conducting pads 106 on the upper surface 111 and lower surface 112 of the memory card 100, thus preventing the concentration of mechanical stress in the housing 2 retaining contacts 70, 70' therein and to the solder connections of the contacts to a circuit board 18.

摘要: A connector for an edge card which includes a plurality of contact terminals spaced apart in an elongated connector housing has a single, latch/eject mechanism rotatably disposed at one end thereof which securely latches the edge card in place within the connector housing and which, when actuating force is applied thereto, partially ejects one end of the edge card out of the connector housing to allow the edge card to be "zippered" out of the connector. The mechanism includes a member having two upwardly extending engagement arms. The member is rotatably between two positions: a first position wherein the edge card is held by the member in a spaced between the two engagement arms and a second position wherein the member partially urges the edge card out of the connector housing

摘要: In the piezoelectric transducer, the elastic member vibrates, being excited by the first electromechanical transducing element. The impedance element on the second electromechanical transducing element is adjusted so that the vibration frequency and the resonance frequency of the elastic member should be almost the same. In the ultrasonic motor using the piezoelectric transducer, the vibration having the same frequency as that of the vibration of the elastic member is applied to the elastic member. This applied vibration has a direction differnt from that of the viration of the elastic member. The applied vibration and the vibration of the elastic member form approximate elliptical vibration, thereby rotating the rotor. The piezoelectric transducer of variable structure can control the resonance frequency in a wide range without electric power. The piezoelectric transducer can efficiently transduce applied electricity into approximate elliptical vibration of the elastic member, thereby generating great mechanical drive power. The electromechanical transducing element and the impedance element can compose a simple and compact vibration control unit. Since the electromechanical transcuding element and the impedance element form a closed circuit consuming no electric power, no power source circuit is required. The vibration control unit adjusts the resonance characteristic of the closed circuit, thus quantitatively controlling the frequency distribution and the amplitude of the mechanical vibration.

摘要: A pair of retention clips are disposed around end flanges of a connector to be mounted to a printed circuit board and have board-proximate surface sections which are firmly secured to the board surface to hold the connector firmly to the board without screws, rivets or the like. The clips allow limited axial expansion and contraction of the connector during significant changes in temperature by securely engaging the flanges. Where the retention clips are metal, the securing method could involve vapor phase reflow soldering which also solders the terminals to the conductors on the board surface. Where the retention clips are plastic, the securing method could involve actinic radiation curing of adhesive material. Retention clips also can secure an edge connector to an edge of a board.

摘要: A plurality of curved rectangular blades are arranged in a circumferential direction on a periphery of a disc, forming a pipe-like basket shape with an opening on a front side of the disc. Rotation of the disc draws in air from the opening and draws out the air in a centrifugal direction through a space between the blades. The blades are formed of a thick plate part close to the disc and a thin plate part that is thinner than the thick plate part and farther than the thick plate part from the disc. A bulge serving as a boundary between the thick plate part and the thin plate part is formed on a negative pressure surface of the blades, which is of curved convex shape.

摘要: A see-through-type head mount display includes a display unit which is configured to project an image light corresponding to display information on an eye of a viewer thus allowing the viewer to visually recognize an image corresponding to the image light while allowing an external light to pass therethrough. The head mount display determines a distribution state of identifying objects within a detected imaging region, and decides a display mode of associated information which is associated with the respective identifying objects corresponding to a distribution state of the identifying objects. Further, the head mount display performs a control such that a display unit performs a display of the associated information which is associated with the identifying objects in the decided mode in association with the identifying objects viewable by a viewer in a see-through manner through the display unit.

摘要: The present invention provides a drive circuit capable of suppressing the power consumption required for driving a capacitive electromechanical transducer device. For driving the capacitive electromechanical transducer device constituted of two electromechanical transducer parts consisting of a first capacitive electromechanical transducer part and a second capacitive electromechanical transducer part and operated in response to two-phase sinusoidal signals having mutually opposite phases, the drive circuit includes an inductor which resonates with the first electromechanical transducer part and the second electromechanical transducer part, and a resonance frequency of the resonance circuit is set substantially equal to an operation frequency of the electromechanical transducer device. The first electromechanical transducer part and the second electromechanical transducer part are driven by the resonance circuit having such a constitution.
