摘要: A wireless mobile communication (WMC) device may be utilized to generate and/or maintain multimedia data files. Context data tags may be created to tag the generated multimedia data files, enabling identification of multimedia data files without directly accessing the contents of the multimedia data files. Context data tags may comprise such attributes as time/date stamps, location, subject, environment, scheduling, and/or biometric information. The WMC device may maintain user preference information, which is unique to the WMC device capabilities and/or to a specific device user. The user preference information may be utilized to specify attributes that may be utilized in creating context data tags for multimedia data files. The user preference information may be maintained in the WMC device and/or externally. Tagging operation may be performed dynamically, and a remote device may be utilized to perform tagging operations and/or to maintain the user preference information.

摘要: Wireless mobile communication (WMC) devices located in near proximity of each other may be enabled to form a mesh (ad hoc wireless) network. WMC devices may form and/or tear down intra-mesh connection with other WMC devices in the same mesh network. WMC devices may utilize information related to other WMC devices in the mesh network in determining formation and tearing down of intra-mesh connections. This information may comprise relative speeds, locations, and directions of movement of the WMC devices forming/tearing intra-mesh connections. Other information including data bandwidth and/or power consumption may be utilized in such determination. This information may also comprise available services advertised by WMC devices in the mesh network.

摘要: A reverse proxy server can receive user requests for web applications. Web application code can be obtained for a first web application. The reverse proxy server can be configured to recognize a specific proxied web application page to indicate a pagelet web application. The pagelet web application code can be obtained from the pagelet web application and a combined presentation produced by inserting the pagelet web application into a specified location in the first web application. This embodiment allows a pagelet web application code to be inserted into a first web application where the first web application code has not been modified prior to the first web application being proxied.

摘要: A communication system that includes a supervisory node (e.g., a headend) and one or more remote nodes (e.g., cable modems). Packets are transmitted between the supervisory node and the one or more remote nodes via RF channels. A plurality of the RF channels are bonded, such that packets may be transmitted via any one or more of the RF channels that are bonded. Bonding may include higher-layer bonding and/or lower-layer bonding. In higher-layer bonding, the communication system further includes a forwarder and a plurality of edge modulators. Each edge modulator is connected to a different RF channel or group of RF channels. The forwarder determines to which edge modulator one or more packets or flows are to be transmitted. In lower-layer bonding, a packet is split into pieces. The pieces are assigned to respective RF channels that are associated with an edge modulator for transmission to a remote node.

摘要: A portable generator system provides power to a load source including an engine and a generator. The engine drives the generator to provide a generator alternating current (AC) electrical power output. An energy storage system (ESS) provides an ESS direct current (DC) electrical power output. A first inverter is connected to the generator for receiving the generator AC electrical power output and for providing a DC power output. A second inverter is connected to the first inverter and the ESS for receiving the DC power output from the first inverter and the ESS DC electrical power output for providing an AC power output. A first power mode includes the generator maintaining a first generator power output level corresponding to a specified power requirement of a load source, and the ESS providing an additional first ESS power output level for satisfying the specified power requirement of the load source.
