    摘要: An optical pickup has an objective lens drive device which includes a fixed block fixed to a movement base, a movable block having an objective lens and a lens holder that holds the objective lens, a plurality of support springs that couples the fixed block with the movable block, and a focusing magnetic coil that operates the movable block in a focusing direction. A distance between the fixed block and a recording surface of a disk recording medium is larger than a distance between the movable block and the recording surface. The support springs are inclined with respect to the recording surface. The support springs have a longitudinal direction orthogonal to a direction of a thrust generated at the focusing magnetic circuit to the movable block during a focusing operation.

    摘要: A combined sensor and bearing assembly including a rolling bearing unit and a rotation sensor unit. The rolling bearing unit is made up of a rotatable raceway member, a stationary raceway member and at least one row of rolling elements. The rotation sensor unit includes a to-be-detected member having a magnet and fitted to one of the raceway members, and a magnetic detecting member fitted to the other raceway member at a location confronting the to-be-detected member. This combined sensor and bearing assembly is used at a location close to an electromagnetic coil emanating a leakage magnetic field, in a condition in which a direction of flow of an electric current through the electromagnetic coil is fixed in one direction so that a direction of a magnetic flux, with which the magnetic detecting member is switched off, may coincide with a direction of the leakage magnetic flux.

    摘要: In this invention, an objective lens driving device, an optical pickup, and an optical disk device are disclosed that have such feature that plural dynamic vibration absorbers provided at the retaining section, by which the elastic supporting members to support the movable section retaining the objective lens are connected to the movable section, can reduce resonance peak which may worsen the servo characteristic and suppress unwanted vibration effectively, since the character frequency of the dynamic vibration absorbers functions as a damper against the vibration of the movable section. This invention also discloses a method of suppressing vibration of the movable section.

    摘要: There is provided a car display device (100) mainly comprising a control unit (20), clips (30R, 30L), and a plug (40) for power source. An on-off signal which has a predetermined period to flash turn signal lamps (L.sub.L, L.sub.R) is input through either of the clips (30R, 30L) and its duration is begun to time. Then, a reference time for judgment is set to be longer than one period and shorter than two periods of the on-off signal. If the duration of the on-off signal is shorter than that of the reference times, the car display device 100 is actuated and the turn signal lamps (L.sub.L and L.sub.R) are being flashed for a predetermined time, simultaneously. Thus, the car display device (100) of the present invention has a simple construction and enables to send appreciation signals to a driver in a succeeding car with certainty.

    摘要: A link actuating device connects an output member to an input member through three or more link mechanisms for alteration in posture. Each of the link mechanisms includes end portion link members on input and output sides, and an intermediate link member. The link mechanisms are of such shapes that geometric models representing the link members by straight lines are such that input and output side portions are symmetrical to each other relative to an intermediate portion of each of the intermediate link members. Immobilizing mechanisms are provided in all of the link mechanisms to immobilize the output member in an arbitrary attitude relative to the input member. A structure body is provided to connect the input and output member to each other while being in contact with contacted portions formed in the input and output member.
