摘要: A marine fender has high bonding strength between a high-slip synthetic resin plate such as an ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene plate and a rubber fender member, and quite long life-time of the high-slip synthetic resin plate . The high-slip synthetic resin plate and a rubber layer are previously welded to each other. The high-slip synthetic resin with the rubber layer and the rubber fender member are welded to each other by vulcanization. In this way, the marine fender is made.

摘要: A connector in which an electrical contact portion of a female terminal has a tubular portion corresponding in shape to a terminal receiving chamber in a connector housing. A slit is formed in the tubular portion, and extends in a direction of insertion of the terminal. An engagement projection which is slidably fitted in the slit is formed on an inner surface of the terminal receiving chamber. When the female terminal is inserted in a proper manner, the engagement projection is fitted into the slit in the tubular portion, and therefore the female terminal is completely inserted into the terminal receiving chamber. On the other hand, when the female terminal is inserted in a wrong manner, the front end of the tubular portion abuts against the engagement projection, thereby preventing the insertion of the female terminal.

摘要: A retainer that is arranged selectively in a temporarily retained condition or in a regularly retained condition while slidably fitted into a housing main body in a vertical direction orthogonal to a connector fitting direction. The retainer, blocks the sliding of a terminal protecting cover in an opening direction under the temporarily retained condition, and is set to an inner position from an outer surface of the housing main body. Further, the retainer is inserted into the housing main body deeper under the regularly retained condition than under the temporarily retained condition so as to be set to such a position as to allow the cover to slide in the opening direction.

摘要: A structure for installing a wire harness within a vehicle door, wherein a wire harness is placed obliquely alongside the vehicle door and swingingly supported at a vertical position to avoid the stress of the wire harness to be caused when the door is opened or closed. The swinging portion of the wire harness is passed through the swinging portion of a protector. One end of the swinging portion of the wire harness is rotatably connected to a sliding portion of the protector and the other end of the swinging portion is rotatably supported at the vehicle door side. The position at which the swinging portion of the wire harness is supported is set to be the center of a range in which the protector slides. A case fitted into a door panel or formed integrally with a door trim and a cover hinged to the case can be employed to enclose the protector and the swinging portion of the wire harness fixed to a clamp holding portion with use of a clamp.
