    摘要: It is intended to provide a novel monomer unit by which Z type DNA can be more effectively stabilized, a reagent for integrating this monomer unit into an oligonucleotide, and a method of stabilizing Z type DNA by using the reagent. Namely, a guanosine derivative represented by the following general formula [1]: wherein R1 represents acyl; R2 represents lower alkyl; R3 represents tri-substituted silyloxy or tetrahedropyranyloxy; and R4 represents cyanoethyl or allyl; a reagent for stabilizing Z type DNA which contains the guanosine derivative; and a method of stabilizing Z type DNA by using the guanosine derivative. It is also intended to provide a method of transferring guanosine having lower alkyl at the 8-position into an oligonucleotide by using the guanosine derivative; and an oligonucleotide carrying guanosine having lower alkyl at the 8-position transferred thereinto.

    摘要: Environmental friendliness and biodegradability are important considerations of disposable materials, be it packaging or paper, in order to minimize environmental damage. The present invention relates to a method of producing environmental friendly and biodegradable products using mechanically processed agricultural fibres and rightly formulated adhesive. In particular, mechanical treatment takes place in a pressure vessel under hydrothermal conditions using superheated steam. Treated agricultural fibres are mixed with stoichemtric amount of adhesive, through vigorous agitation, a well furnished agricultural fibre slurry is obtained and ready to be fed into manufacturing process to produce, in this invention, moulded shape bodies and paper liners. Unlike synthetic resin, the said adhesive formulation is biodegradable and made of natural renewable resources. The said adhesive has self-retention property. The agricultural fibre slurry can be easily made into moulded products and paper liners using commonly available processes.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus for interactive built-in self-testing with user-programmable test patterns are disclosed. The present invention operates in the context of an integrated circuit (IC) including built-in self-test (BIST) logic and a test interface circuit resident on the IC. The BIST logic executes a BIST routine for testing the IC, and the test interface achieves the inputting of an external test pattern into the BIST logic from an external logic circuit. The test interface includes a first flag storage element accessible to the BIST logic. The first flag storage element stores a first flag that indicates whether the test pattern will be provided to the IC from the external logic. A test data storage element in the test interface stores the external test pattern, and is also accessible to the BIST logic. A second flag storage element accessible to the BIST logic stores a second flag to indicate whether the test pattern is available in the test data storage element. Test control logic receives a first instruction from the external logic, and executes the first instruction to set the first flag. The test control logic reads the test pattern and sets the second flag after the test pattern is stored in the test data storage element. If the first flag is not set, the BIST logic executes the BIST routine using a test pattern internally generated on the IC. On the other hand, if the first flag is set, then the BIST logic executes the BIST routine using the test patterns stored in the test data storage element.

    摘要: The present invention provides a new method for detecting the presence of gynecological carcinomas in a patient. The method, which comprises detecting the presence of lysophosphatidic acid in a plasma sample of the patient, is useful for detecting ovarian carcinoma, cervical carcinoma, endometrial carcinoma, and peritoneal carcinoma. In a preferred embodiment the method comprises: providing a blood specimen from the patient, obtaining a plasma sample for the blood specimen under conditions which minimize the release of lysophosphatidic acid from the platelets in the blood specimen into the plasma, extracting lipids from the plasma, and detecting the presence of lysophosphatidic acid in the lipid extract. A new method for extracting lysophosphatidic acid from a biological fluid is also provided. The method which comprises acidifying the biological fluid and extracting the lysophosphatidic acid from the acidified sample with an organic solvent is useful for extracting greater than 80% of the lysophosphatidic acid in the biological fluid.

    摘要: The invention discloses a method for improving the extracellular expression level of a foreign protein by means of phospholipase fusion expression. Four proteins, PLA2, MBP, CBD and SUMO, are used as a fusion tag to construct a fusion gene. Compared with an original protein MOH without any fusion tag, the extracellular expression level and enzymatic activity of all the four fusion proteins are increased to some degree. Among them, the fusion protein using PLA2 as the fusion tag has the highest expression level, which is 7.4 times higher than that of the original protein. Compared with other fusion tags, PLA2 has a low molecular weight and the fusion protein having PLA2 as the fusion tag has the highest expression level (up to 12 g·L−1 in a 7 L fermentation tank for high-density fermentation). It is shown that the secretory expression of a foreign protein can be effectively increased by using PLA2 as a fusion tag.
