Abstract: This disclosure relates to performing cellular communication using a power efficient downlink control information framework. A wireless device and a cellular base station may exchange configuration information indicating that the cellular base station and the wireless device support a sleep downlink control information (sDCI) format. An sDCI configuration according to the sDCI format may be negotiated, including selecting at least one sDCI configuration parameter based at least in part on an application type currently associated with cellular communication between the cellular base station and the wireless device. Downlink control information may be provided during one or more subframes in accordance with the sDCI configuration. One or more subframes for which no downlink control information will be provided to the wireless device may be determined based at least in part on the sDCI configuration.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may establish a connection with a network for transmission of a plurality of data bursts further comprising a plurality of data segments. Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are provided for supporting blind retransmission. In one example, a method includes processing control information that indicates resources for communication of a physical downlink shared channel or a physical uplink shared channel (PDSCH/PUSCH) transmission and timing information for a retransmission of the PDSCH/PUSCH. The method includes configuring operation to: receive the PDSCH/PUSCH transmission based on the resources; and determine that a subsequent PDSCH/PUSCH received at a subsequent time corresponds to the retransmission of the PDSCH/PUSCH when the subsequent time coincides with the indicated timing information for the retransmission and, in response combine the PDSCH/PUSCH with the retransmission in a HARQ buffer for decoding purposes.
