摘要: A sheet member of silicone rubber suitable for use in gas-exchange such as oxygenation and decarbonation of blood in an oxygenator of a mechanical heart and lung is proposed.The sheet member of the invention is provided with a plurality of capillary pores extending in parallel and each opening at both ends thereof. The oxygenator is constructed with a plurality of the inventive sheet members arranged in parallel and air is passed through the spaces between the adjacent sheet members while blood is passed through the capillary pores in the sheet members.The efficiency of the gas exchange by use of the above sheet members is further enhanced by providing the sheet member with capillary pores each having an undulating longitudinal cross section comprised of an alternating repetition of wider portions and narrower portions.

摘要: A tubular jacket heater having a C-wise radial cross section with an aperture extending in a parallel direction to the axis is proposed which is used to envelop and preheat a tubular lamp used, for example, in a electrophotographic copying machine. The heater is composed of an inner layer made of an electrically insulating rubbery elastomer, an outer layer also made of an electrically insulating rubbery elastomer and a flexible heater element sandwiched by and entending between the inner and the outer insulating layers. The rubbery elastomer recommended is a silicone rubber with a specified hardness.Different from conventional similar tubular jacket heaters in which the insulating layers are made of a rather rigid plastic resin such as a polycarbonate resin, the inventive heater has an excellent adaptability to the outer surface of the tubular lamp inserted therein so that a greatly improved efficiency of the heater is obtained.

摘要: A substrate storage container and a gas replacement unit capable of reducing variations in humidity or concentration of gas in a space above a substrate are provided. The substrate storage container comprises a container body having an opening and is capable of containing substrates, a lid, at least one intake valve for supplying gas to the inside of the container body, and at least one gas replacement unit which blows out the supplied gas wherein the at least one intake valve is attached to the back, bottom surface of the container body. 摘要: According to one embodiment, a substrate storage container includes a transport component configured to be mountable to a container body by being relatively displaced with respect to the container body from the rear side to the front side. The container body has a container body-side protrusion protruding upward. The transport component has a transport component-side protrusion protruding downward. In a mounted state, the transport component-side protrusion is engaged with the front side of the container body-side protrusion to be restricted from being displaced backwards. When a predetermined load is applied to the transport component-side protrusion upwardly, the transport component-side protrusion is displaced by a smaller amount than the container body-side protrusion displaced when the predetermined load is applied to the container body-side protrusion downwardly.
