摘要: Apparatuses, including sleeves, intraoral scanning systems to use these sleeves, and methods of using the sleeve, that authenticate the sleeve for use with an intraoral scanning system. Authentication may include verifying that the sleeve is new (unused) and/or verifying that the sleeve is appropriate and/or intended for use with the intraoral scanning system. Once authenticated, operation parameters of the intraoral scanning system can be automatically set based on information from a scanned identifier on the sleeve.

摘要: A patient support apparatus includes a plurality of primary sensors adapted to measure different parameters used in the control of the patient support apparatus. One or more suites of secondary sensors are added to the patient support apparatus to provide data about the primary sensors. The secondary sensors may be used to detect errors in the primary sensors, to modify outputs from the primary sensors, and/or to provide usage and/or diagnostic data about the use of the patient support apparatus. The suite(s) of secondary sensors may measure parameters that affect the outputs of one or more of the primary sensors. In some embodiments, the suite(s) of secondary sensors include one or more dormant sensors that are not used on the patient support apparatus until a code modification is received from one or more external sources instructing the control system of the patient support apparatus to begin using the dormant sensor(s).

摘要: A processing device receives an intraoral image of a first intraoral site and determines an identity of the first intraoral site. The processing device then locks the intraoral image and selects a portion of the intraoral image depicting a portion of the first intraoral site based at least in part on the identity of the first intraoral site. The processing device may then generate a model comprising the first intraoral site based at least in part on the locked intraoral image, wherein the portion of the locked intraoral image is used for a first region of the model, and wherein data from one or more additional intraoral images that also depict the portion of the first intraoral site is not used for the first region of the model.

摘要: In CT visualization software, zones of the right and left temporomandibular joints (TMJs) are visualized sequentially. In a frontal plane, each of the condylar processes of the TMJs are delimited into sections. In a sagittal plane, separate 3D contours of the fossae and the condyles of the TMJs are created. The contours of the condyles are combined with a 3D model of the mandibular teeth, and a 3D model of the mandible with the teeth and the condylar processes is obtained. The contours of the fossae are combined with a 3D model of the maxillary teeth, and a 3D model of the maxilla with the teeth and the contours of the glenoid fossae is obtained. The 3D scene objects obtained are distributed according to side and identification code, and precise tracking of the movement of the condyles and the fossae of the TMJs during movement of the mandible is provided.

摘要: In a system of manufacturing an orthodontic wire, a method for manufacturing the orthodontic wire using the system, and an orthodontic wire bending machine for performing the system, the system includes a teeth data obtaining part, a simulating part, a calculating part and a wire manufacturing part. The teeth data obtaining part obtains present teeth data of a patient. The simulating part generates final teeth data. The calculating part compares a predetermined threshold to a compared value between the present teeth data of the patient and the final teeth data. The wire manufacturing part selectively manufactures a wire for an orthodontic process or a wire for a dentition maintenance process based on a compared result of the calculating part.

After constructing a digital three-dimensional (3D) model of patient's teeth, pre-processing operations, comprising identifying gum lines on the digital 3D model and adding identifier information to the digital 3D model, are performed on the digital 3D model, and 3D printing is performed on the basis of the identifier information of the digital 3D model to obtain a first dental mold; and a film press processing is performed according to the first dental mold to obtain a second dental mold, identifier identification is performed on the second dental mold, and the identifier information is marked on the second dental mold according to the identification result to obtain a dental appliance. The production system and method are applied to the technical field of dental appliance production.
