The present invention relates to a curable calcium phosphate composition for biological hard tissue repair, including tetracalcium phosphate particles (A), calcium hydrogen phosphate particles (B), calcium carbonate particles (C), and water (D), the curable calcium phosphate composition including 5 to 75 parts by weight of the tetracalcium phosphate particles (A), 10 to 70 parts by weight of the calcium hydrogen phosphate particles (B), and 2 to 50 parts by weight of the calcium carbonate particles (C) per 100 parts by weight of the total of the tetracalcium phosphate particles (A), the calcium hydrogen phosphate particles (B), and the calcium carbonate particles (C).

摘要: The present invention relates to the deposition of a micro-crystalline hydroxyapatite and tricalcium phosphate coating onto gutta-percha cones, to be used as dental composite for root canal filling. The method proposed for coating involves the surface pretreatment of gutta-percha cones with sodium hydroxide; immersion of gutta-percha cones in simulated body fluid, which contains calcium and phosphate ions; and replacing consumed simulated body fluid after an interval of time, at physiological pH and temperature. The nucleation process results in the biomimetic deposition of a thin and uniform layer of calcium phosphates and hydroxyapatite. Improved characteristics such as in sealing ability, bonding strength, and ability to form hermetic seal, therefore allows the dental composite produced, to be used appropriately as filling matter in root canal treatments.

摘要: A bone cement formulation comprising: (a) magnetic calcium phosphate nanoparticles present in an amount of 5.0-95 wt. % and having a largest linear dimension of 150 nm to 50 microns; (b) polymerizable acrylate monomer present in an amount of 5.0-95 wt. %; and (c) polyacrylate polymer present in an amount of 0-80 wt. % and having a largest linear dimension from 5.0 to 500 microns. Upon exposure to an alternating magnetic field the formulation is heated which results in polymerization of the acrylate monomer component. The formulation may also be polymerized via the use of chain polymerization initiators.
